and seek God during the experience.
that's the definition of repentance, and if you know that you have forgiveness (Jesus blood is evidence) then forgive yourself and live, that exactly what He came for, so that you could have life, abundantly (I'm preaching to myself here too!:p

remember, don't fight the devil, RESIST him: James 4:7. i know a guy who had a girlfriend in which he says was the best g..f. he ever had. & it was a long relationship, in the decades, but they never talked marriage. he got married later on to someone else. well, get out now, get your own place. what a change you'll see IMMEDIATLY! a relationship with Jesus is a lifelong commitment, always growing in grace & knowledge of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. take a look into 2nd Timothy 2:7 & 15.
I might as well read James 4:7 while I’m at it.

its a little challenging to find an affordable place where I live. I’d probably have to move to the midwest.

i’m screenshotting this post as well.

I thought I was the biggest sinner of them all. I started writing a three part testimonial of my life story leading up the year I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and the moderators deleted it. I probably said too much!
Yea, many of us are still babies and can't handle that all much reality.... I mean, have you seen the meltdowns trending on youtube? There are few taking the (trustworthy) advice, "be still and know that..." Well, there are, actually, if you look for them. These are the channels, such as Atmosphere of Grace, that I listen to when I need to lower my stress levels, almost daily.

Don't get me wrong, I slept one hour. I'm sure drinking a cup of coffee had something to do with that but, I'm just not going add to stress and stress some more about not getting sleep because its behind, and so I'm looking ahead, and trying not to with too much an 'ugh' attitude...going to need some B vitamins to get through the work shift though, which will probably keep me up past bedtime again and... I'll try to make the best of whatever situation I find myself skipping into.

I definitely need to hear that! I’m definitely going To read James 4:7 also, cause there may be some demonic presence oppressing me. It’s just kinda strange that I’m up only when it’s dark out and sleeping when the sun is out. I’m pretty sure there is scripture about that! ‘The wicked’

Yep, the nature of principalities is to control us, after all. No of us can get around facing this gigantic wall with paradise on the other side, except there is a Door, that has told us that "I am the Door...come to me...and." It's baffling that so many ignore the light and try to figure some other way.

The reality I wrote about had wayyy too much traumatic events that turned into degeneracy. I just dont understand how people can’t understand that people who accept Jesus as lord and savior radically change internally and become an entirely new person.

i have not seen the meltdowns on YouTube. I mostly go on there to watch my churches sermon and life church in Oklahoma's sermons, which I watch more than my home church.

i ended up taking the ‘be still’ literally myself sadly, and haven’t moved in ten years. Lots of coercive control by verbal abuse and it’s like I don’t understand that I could just walk out that door any time I wan.

When it comes to stress levels, I usually use pray.com and listen to the meditation prayers or the sleep psalms.

I’m still trying to figure out which door to open. That is something I’m blind to.

Maybe just walking out my front door will do.

I've heard Ex the suggestion of Exposure therapy does help. It's not so much taking on the world but taking on personal challenges. Working from smallest to largest would seem the most effective approach, that what is advised for knocking out debt anyway. It seems like you're sense of individual identity has been severely damaged (perhaps because of this reason many are reluctant to approach God, believing they are welcome, and indeed have been given to). That is, you've forgotten you're primarily john, first, and then you're lou's son and bob's brother and bill's friend, etc. Any other sense of order of identity leaves us carrying unnecessary baggage into relationships, imo.

i don't think so. seems to me, you possibly are engaging in events with the wrong attitude & intentions. also, you should ask Jesus what His plan is for you. ambivolence has you under control. know that the devil has control of you. all Christians can simply cast out the devil immediately: James 4:7! Jesus should be #1 for all Christians meaning you want to think, speak & act like Jesus constantly: Matthew 5:48. but you can be overwhelmed in trying to hard. find that pleasing joyful cheery balance in life. it is clear here that you have to, "stop, look & listen". meaning, slow down big time, find your favorite place & talk with Jesus with no noise around. & don't rush! yes, being a Christian is different if your heart, mind, body, soul, conscious & spirit align with Jesus! study Romans 12:2, 1st John 3:20-22 John 14:13,14, John 16:13 & John 14:26. take a deep look into Hebrews 4:12

“My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”

I’d have to agree with you there. My sense of individual identity has been severely damaged from a life of abuse, lack of accountability, lack of support system. When I have a close friend, I usually take on their personality traits because I don’t have a strong sense of self. I understand that I’m a child of God, so maybe inheriting Jesus’ identity is the aim.
