Kroger's got a pallet of Sweet Potatoes/ yams in. 25¢/ pound if you like those and have one nearby.
As delicious as they are, I won't be adding sugar, but they are good with butter.

I might just fellowship on here Thanksgiving with my other single Christian family.
I would like to go to a nursing home and try to be a blessing to some who don't have family too.

If we don't talk before the holiday, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Soulsearch, MsMediator, and Magenta. I love you sisters. 😊

Love the food, enjoy the company, but the underrated thing that some people overlook......stretchy pants. Like sweat pants. I think this year I'm skipping the jeans just to look silly with me sprawled out on the couch with them unbuttoned. I'm a 3 plate guy most years, sweatpants are ganna be my buddy this year. I'll be the joke at the table but the smart guy on the couch. I bet I hear a "man that was a good idea" or " I wish I thought of that"before the night is over. Im not the only one who looks like they're trying to impersonate a beached whale after all the food I eat. I'll be nice and cozy on that couch.
"I won't say I'm fat... All I'll say is, my stretch pants don't have a choice."

Speaking of cranberry sauce, it has to be the jellied stuff from a can. If it doesn't have the markings from the can it came from, it's not "real." ;)

Lol, stretchy pants are definitely the Foodie's Fashion of Choice.

Also, it's great to have you back, Jake! :D

I should probably hold up a shield when saying this (to try to lessen the hit of all those stones being thrown,) but I actually really like the canned version. :censored:

With or without whole berries?

I knocked out one Thanksgiving dinner last night, one more to go today and then my stretchy pants might be able to breathe a sigh of relief.

Unfortunately, the cranberry sauce didn't have any "can" rings, but despite this, it was pretty good anyway.

Lol.

I love cranberry sauce (and cranberry juice), and I love oranges (and orange juice), but I had never heard of them being combined together before. The things you learn on chat forums. I don't know. Maybe I live a sheltered life or something. I am guessing that they would probably mix together well.

Thanksgiving might be the only holiday that I partake in, and I am thankful that I have some people to spend it with this year.
