We all started out as one of the 'unredeemed' so just as we became one of the redeemed, all can choose to do so also.
So, how to go from being one of the dead in Christ, unredeemed, or dead in our sins and trespasses to being one of the redeemed? Simply by faith
No wonder the last words of Jesus in are
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Romans 10
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above
7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17So then
faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18But I say,
Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
Posted just above by another member, which I believe bears repeating, is after an unredeemed hears and believes and comes to faith, then they also are
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
The Word made flesh is the Old Covenant given to us in a different manner so that we may walk towards God not ONLY in our flesh and blood, by the Law, but in our hearts, in the Spirit. No longer just what we physically do, but it is the thoughts and intents of our heart, who we become
Jesus said from the start in Matt 5
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20For I say unto you, That
except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
