I was responding to the absurd claim that someone on this thread had said it doesn't take money to take care of a child.
No one? Not a single person? Really, who said that? It seems ridiculous to assert there isn't a single person in all of Germany who isn't a recovering drug addict, or recently released felon, or mentally incompetent and thus broke as a result. What post was that?
I can't find that post. I searched this thread using the word poverty and could not find it. Are you making stuff up again?

Once again they take something someone says out to the absurd extreme. Wolf clearly said it is not a major reason. So naturally Dude and RA twist that to mean it is not a reason for anyone anywhere at any time.
This level of intentional and malicious deceit should be prohibited by this site.
Oh so your claim is that 300,000 abortions a year in Germany is because the parents of those 300,000 can't afford kids? Because that is the context of his remark. This is malicious and deceitful. You can't twist people's words to say whatever you want them to say. You are now doing this everyday. You need to repent. This is slander.
The quote you provided does not say "no one". It says the reason 300,000 abortions are taking place is not because of that. He didn't say one wasn't or ten weren't.
Also, he never used the word poverty. "Can't afford" is very different from poverty. People can be middle class, nowhere near poverty and feel "they can't afford" children at this time.
The reason you don't quote him precisely is because most people would agree with what he said. Also, why do you quote with a screen shot? It makes it difficult to reply to your post so your response can easily get lost in the mix (Post #55). That just adds to the perception you are intentionally being deceitful.
Who cares how much you can stretch your imagination. You accused him of saying something he didn't say and you provide no evidence to back up your claims.
They had less than 700,000 live births in 2022. 300,000 is 42% of that number. You think 42% of pregnant women are in poverty in Germany?
