I also can't wait for him to write his own dictionary in which "no fruit" and "procreation" are synonymous. Every time he is backed into a corner, he shifts the goal posts. Finding offense with a word? Lol. Go and read it IN CONTEXT. Some of us have read our Bibles, and we are therefore not moved by your gross misinterpretations of scripture. Isaiah was talking about how wicked people made prophets out to be offenders because of the word of the Lord which they had faithfully spoken to others. In other words, it had absolutely nothing to do with calling out somebody who is misusing words contrary to their actual meanings.

Jesus said the resurrected are as the angels. Paul said there is neither male nor female in Christ. So if the resurrected have no sex, then it can be reasonably inferred that angels are asexual as we will be.

If I am reading your posts correctly, perhaps rather than the word synonymous ancient cultures married in the expectation that there would be children.
So yes marriage and procreation were tied together probably up until fairly recently.
It really is not complicated.

Not sure why this topic always gets so heated, I have also read the position that two becoming one flesh is children, but I would agree sex and procreation (marriage) were not regarded how it is viewed in our modern day culture where the two are separated out.

Even if one goes back a few generations people got married to start a family, not like now a days where people marry and decide they do not want children.
