If others have read any of the responses to the OP, could you please give your honest opinion of what you think of their response, especially if you believe in the future set up of the millennial kingdom here on earth that takes place after the Second Advent and Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Does it make any sense to you, because to me they seem to be a little confused or perhaps flustered intellectually because of what they believe. They don't seem to measure up with the measure of simplicity concerning the doctrine of Christ and the church and God's plan for the nation of Israel. They flaunt this understanding through historical supremacy but don't seem to be to responsive to any historical background that is unsupportive of their claims to 'amillennialism'. If any of you have suggestions or information that could help them, please feel free to post it here as God leads you.

PS - Please take note that the OP is in two parts with Part (2) coming first. An error on my part when posting.

Why cant THEY SEE???

You've done a great expose' on this thread Doc. Nothing more you can do or say for now. The longer one has believed in something, the harder it is to consider the possibility that their belief could be in error .....particularly if those in question "feel" like they would be violating what they understood to be true concerning God's word. May those who investigate the matter for themselves understand that their faith in Christ is in no way compromised by doing so. We were told to study to show ourselves approved. Those who truly seek the truth will find it.

how about ANY dispensationalist.

WILL THERE BE ANIMAL SACRIFICES IN THE MILLENNIUM?
let's put it this way,
we all know the 'man of sin' is a MAN, yes? and since he is a MAN, (singular) and predicted to be the one who sets himself up above ALL that is called GOD so that he shows himself to be god... and in order for him to do that he has to "sit" somewhere... now zone, where would this place be in which he sits? he is not some organization, or group, he is ONE person who wants to be GOD and be worshiped as such. He needs a place to do that, why not a temple? who says the sacrifices are not coming back? perhaps they will be linked to your noahide laws? isn't this what they are planning to do? build a temple in Jerusalem?? aren't the blue prints all ready? how can the man of sin be 'symbolic' or 'historical' when Jesus specifically mentions him in the NT as being part of the endtime scenario? this man of sin has not appeared yet, and when he is, he will need a temple or some place TO SIT IN...
this is how the sacrifices might be explained?
if you claim there won't be a man of sin, then how do you explain that in symbolic terms? we all know we don't need a temple, because we ARE the temple, as believers.... Jesus is King of Kings, we know that too... but scripture points to a MAN OF SIN who will SIT IN THE TEMPLE AND CLAIM TO BE GOD.... how will this happen? it cannot be meant symbolically... because we are the temple... and the MAN OF SIN cannot sit inside the believers that were purchased with Jesus' precious blood.
Please explain how and why there shouldn't be a temple.... for this MAN OF SIN.?

also, do a study on the feast of tabernacles, because it is mentioned for the millennium... it will be the only feast observed.... why and what is it?

mmmm OT Feast of Tabernacle celebrates water coming from stone when Moses struck it....

wonder what NT tells us about LIVING Water, the STONE that was struck?

mmm lets throw some salt on it and have dinner?

the original topic was whether 1000 year reign is LITERAL or Figurative.

So if you think the 1000 years is LITERAL, why would you be asking about the MAN OF SIN? isn't he suppose to be dead or in hell during the 1000 year thing?

IF you believe that it is Figurative and Christ reigns in Heaven with His saints NOW, TODAY, how does fulfillment of given prophecy refute that belief?

sorry can you reconnect the dots for me? I don't get it.

most Amillenialist believe that the world will rebuild a temple and place the AntiChrist on that throne, they state that most of the world will think it is JESUS RETURNED to Rule for what they perceive as the "promised 1000 year" reign on Earth and will worship the ANTICHRIST and kill anyone who says they are wrong and refuse to worship the fake Christ.

mmm that is kind of why most Amillenialist are against the doctrine of 1000 year reign on Earth because it can be used as a platform to place a world dictator claiming to be Christ Returned. unitarlian New Age all inclusive Christ figure that also fulfills the Shiva and Mietriya prophecies, while he's around too.
