When Jesus comes He will gather the saved and the lost will be destroyed.
Mat 24:35-39
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away,
Earth will pass away..
Like the flood all were killed except those saved in Christ
but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Took them all, ALL, away.
No wicked survivers.

The Earth will be burned up.. all the elements will melt...
When Jesus comes the Earth will be destroyed.
2 Peter 3:
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Verse 8 in this passage reveals to us that the 'day of the Lord' in verse 10 is a 1000-year period of time.
The 'day of the Lord' is both a 1000-year period of time - and - the first [24-hour] day of that 1000 years.
The context of a particular passage of scripture will indicate which applies to that passage of scripture.
The list of things in verse 10 actually occur at the end of the 1000-year 'day of the Lord' period of time.
The new heavens and new earth mentioned here come into being after the end of the 'day of the Lord'.
