Im a USAF veteran, 84-91. My heart has been broken by our country the last 10 years roughly. I hope we are on the mend. Yes, been feeling very lost lately and unable to plugged in.
I am hoping yo find some fellowship here.

Welcome, JB66. My Air Force years were 1982-2002. Our country as well as the entire world has been digging a deep hole for itself. I think the digging will continue to the end of this era.

There are a lot of ex military here. Not sure if the USA is on the mend though. I'm sure that you will find ample opportunity for fellowship. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

I am an Army vet, 1979 - 1983. Served entire enlistment with the 101st Airborne Division based out of Ft. Campbell, KY. Thanks to you and the many others that have served the USA.

I think many people are feeling that way. You aren't alone in the concerns. This is a nice place perhaps to meet friends and feel more connected in knowing that many are feeling that way

Dear JB66,

I just saw your post. I offer to you the unconditional love of Jesus which is all I have but is everything. In my own trials and painful life experiences I have found Jesus to be my faithful friend when no one else was or could be there. He is right there with you. I hope and pray you have a relationship with Him because that is where true hope comes from. I also believe you can find some friends here as there are many kind and gentle souls here.
