Romans 3:25 (KJV)

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Is this saying our sins are forgiven or that there is remission of them and we still need to ask? Please use other verses if possible and from the KJV if possible.

out of respect for you, to learn from what we all have written to us each, using the KJV version from biblegateway.com

Note: the verse below, be under Law, before the cross took place

Matthew 5:24
Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

There are many more verse revealed before the cross took place, a before and an after the cross is sincerely real people.
Where are we, before Law, under Law, after released from under Law, in between, being a Hybrid using a mix of the Law to be justified by others, not God maybe? Each person, gets to choose what God has done for them or not, personally above all else to me at least, either it is done or it is not completed yet in Son for us all to stand in belief to it is finished by Son for us or not, to walk new in the risen Son, leading us in Father's Holy Spirit of love and mercy to all.

For me, now being forgiven I sought out those I harmed and chose to tell them and either be reconciled to them or not from them or not. Even those I found that did not know it was me.
Talk about being freed, that was the experience I got from choosing to do that, not having to do it, to get in. Because I am in by God Father through Son for me. I respond, not create, the purpose, motive, behind one, anyone is key to get freed over greed here on earth to have things, for me at least I now see after a long walk off a short pier daily. maybe you too?

now after the cross

Romans 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
2 Corinthians 5:18
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
2 Corinthians 5:20
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Be, ye reconciled back to God in thanksgiving and praise, since no flesh can please God and all flesh through the cross is now condemned to flesh works efforts
Colossians 1:21
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

Is reconciled and forgiven the same, yet different words used to convey to us we are loved by God through Son who went willingly to that cross once for us all?

Did he do it

John 19:28-30
After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Was the above the job, he came here to earth to do?
Matthew 5:17
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Did he do it, is it done by Son or not for you and all others too or not?
Hebrews 10:10
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

so, therefore are you saved by God or not once believe God in all this as done for you or not?
reconciled, forgiven
Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Ephesians 4:32
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Does this above include our enemies? I see that is the proper response from having to do it under Law, to choose to do it freely now, for me at least to choose that, since God did that first for us all. I, we love because God first loved us by Son as risen where new life is now given freely. Believe God by risen Son. and be new in love and mercy to all too, thank you.

Matthew 5:17
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

now, what was the willing death he took on willingly do?
Are we by God Father of the risen Son 100% forgiven or not? From Father's view I speak not man's view.
If I think not, then I need to do to get in and stay in, which is what religionist people preach
These will not remove the hammer to keep people under their control. They know they should and see it, yet do not do it, afraid you will not attend and they will not get money.
Do as they say, they tell the truth, yet do not do the truth themselves
Religionist people seek converts and when I got caught up under that group, under Law, I was made twice the son of hell myself of themselves, Now I know not to take any credit for myself or any other person either, whether it be bad or good.
Phil. 3 revels this to me about under Law and why Paul gave up being under Law, yet if anyone wants to go there, he reveals in Chapter 3 that he gave up under Law, he did better than anyone else. yet gave up Law to do Under Law (As he did it new, holding up Law as good) willingly in love and mercy given him first through Son as risen for him and all others too.
It is done by Son on that cross, where by his one time willing death, once for all, he took it all upon himself, to free us from being under Law to do law willing (Upholding Law as good) and not see it as having to do Law, rather upholding Law as good for each person and then comes out of them the new heart of love and mercy in thanksgiving and praise to Father in risen Son given them to see it clearly

King James Version

Ezekiel 36:26
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Ask, b eleven, receive and be new naturally led new, by Father and Son working it all out through you

Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Do you now stand in belief or not to Father and Son, son as risen for you too

King James Version

Col 1:21-23
21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Yes, Jesus died for our sins, and through Him, we are fully forgiven. But we are still called to confess our sins and seek His forgiveness to maintain our close relationship with Him. His sacrifice saves us from eternal separation from God, but it doesn’t mean sin has no consequences in our lives. We are accountable for our actions, and unrepented sin can still harm our spiritual walk and our connection with God.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."1 John 1:9 (KJV)

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."Galatians 6:7 (KJV)

"By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all."Hebrews 10:10 (KJV)

NIV "God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished"

All of the sins committed between Adam and Christ were "left unpunished". Jesus' sacrifice provides the full atonement for sins, but only for those who receive it by faith.

Consider this: how many of your sins were "still in the future" when Jesus died on the cross? How many of your individual specific sins have you confessed? Do you consider yourself "saved by faith in Jesus' sacrifice"? If so, then your sins have been forgiven.

When Jesus taught the disciples to pray, "Forgive us our sins as we forgive others who sin against us", He wasn't teaching them to "ask for forgiveness" but to recognize that, having received forgiveness for their own sin, they should forgive others freely. The parable of the unmerciful servant points to a connection between our extension of mercy to others and God's extension of mercy toward us.

There is another part of the process though, and it has to do with repentance. We need to recognize the wrongness of our sinful actions (and omissions), acknowledge the damage we have caused, in some cases make restitution, and seek to avoid repeating that sin.
