What I mean by sense of humor is - joking, laughing, teasing, a little sarcasm, etc. I did not mean like a comedian. I hope he smiles too.
I know a few people that say God talks to them and that he does have a sense of humor. Since I don't hear God, I wouldn't know. I believe he speaks to me through reading the bible.
Just curious if anyone has any personal experience seeing/hearing God's humor.

you don't know what a sense of humor is? being phunnneee, telling jokes, acting out comedy, making phunnneee faces, etc. don't overcomplicate anything. someone can climb up a ladder backwards & God would probably laugh out loud!
I asked God this question one time cause he was always so serious.This is part of a vision.God filled me with his Spirit.There's nothing like it,and light even came off of me.People who looked at me had their mouths wide open filled with joy because they didn't 'see' me.They saw Jesus.His Spirit would lead people to him.From hundreds of kilometers away if he led them.For me it was like I wasn't in my own body but looking at everything from someone else's eyes.
When his Spirit is filled within you it is exhausting both physically and mentally.The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
Every time I'd feel like crashing out from exhaustion he would fill me with his Spirit and out of nowhere you'd feel fresh as a daisy.
So he kept doing that over and over cause his Spirit would draw people to him.They would come knock on my door and his Spirit would give testimony of his Two Witnesses.He just has to speak it word for word.It was the KJV but that doesn't really matter.
I remember asking God for rest cause all's I wanted to do was sleep.But as soon as people left more would come knocking like clock work.Finally the last person left and God told me to rest.So I walked to my bed room and fell face first onto my pillow to sleep.
Guess what happen next?
Someone knocked on my door,lol.I knew this was God's doing and I asked him why did he say I could rest when he's still drawing people in?
He told me that it was a joke.
At that time it wasn't funny to me.
The vision was about the 144,000 giving the testimony of the Two Witnesses.

I can't pronounce at least half of the names in the OT. Then when I reached the NT, I thought thank goodness I can pronounce those names and wondered if God lost patience with how some of us struggled with the OT names. So, he made it easier. Probably not, but it did cross my mind.
One time when I prayed for wisdom I added, you know God, there is a lot of room in my head to store it. Then I realized what I said and laughed to myself. What I meant was, I really need it. So, did he laugh at me? Who knows. I don't hear him. But that prayer did suggest that I didn't have any brains which is not what I meant. LOL

Hi VJ, I don't know if this example is the kind of thing you are looking for, but I will share it anyway:
When I was about 7 years old, a relative told me that he never uses an alarm clock because God always wakes him up at the right time. I thought that was cool, so that night when I said my prayers I asked Jesus to wake me up at 8 o'clock. Then I went to sleep.
At some point while I was sleeping, I heard a very kind man's voice say "wake up!" My eyes flew open immediately, and I looked around expecting to see a man in my room. There wasn't a man..... but right as my eyes opened I heard my clock radio flip to the next minute....it was LITERALLY simultaneous to me waking up. I turned around to check the time, and it was exactly 8 o'clock.
The voice was very kind, calming, and full of good humor..... like He was amused at being able to mess with me. I will never forget it!
Some would say he was joking, others might say he was lying.
Since he doesn't lie, he was messing with that person. As a joke or being funny. My opinion.
You don't have to be comedian to have a sense of humour. I imagine that people laughed at the idea of a camel going through the eye of a needle, or a log in someone's eye. A preacher named Juan Carlos Ortiz could very funny. But he used humour to skewer some people who had wrong attitudes. There are several others who use humour to make a point.
That first word was suppose to say, Here.

Do you honestly detect any humorous intent on Jesus' part? Was Jesus seeking to be funny as he warned how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God?
Do you honestly detect any sort of humorous reaction from the disciples? They were astonished out of measure because of Jesus' words, and his comments caused them to ask "Who then can be saved?" Were they laughing while they asked such a thing?

Do you honestly believe that Jesus' intent was to be humorous while warning hypocrites about actions which would leave them judged and condemned? Moments earlier, Jesus said this:

Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

Do you honestly believe that Jesus' intent was to elicit a chuckle from his hearers only moments after telling them "Woe unto you that laugh now!"?
Do you honestly believe that Jesus' hearers laughed during his Sermon on the Mount? Here is what scripture has to say about the reaction of the crowd.

Do you honestly believe that their astonishment included a few belly laughs along the way?
I have seen this topic come up on other forums before, and the same type of desperate reaches were prevalent there. Neither Jesus nor his Father exhibited a sense of humor anywhere in scripture. That alone ought to tell us something.
the kind of story i like. your post reminds me of the 1st event in which i implemented the powers of my subconscious mind. back in about 1975, i was reading a Reader's Digest book & i saw that it's possible to wake up when you want without an alarm clock by using mind power. i was very attracted to that idea. so i began to try this. when in school, i had to wake up at, maybe, 7:00. the 1st day, i woke up about 6:45, 2nd day, maybe 6:55 then the 3rd, woke up at 7:00! & from there, i learned that it is possible to initiate self-healing which i realized works also.Hi VJ, I don't know if this example is the kind of thing you are looking for, but I will share it anyway:

You have my sympathy. God is the God of joy. Feel free to live in mourning and weeping. There is a time to weep and a time to laugh. (Ecclesiastes 3:4). Some of us have done our weeping and now we can laugh (Luke 6:21). I guess you are not there yet.
