Not exactly. While we did get hit at Pearl from a surprise attack. It still did not open up the US for invasion as the Pac had not been turned into a lake. Japan, knew this and engaged us in other battles. None being decisive so they decided they would lure us into a trap at Midway. We turned the tables and surprised them and Japan was never a threat to invade the west coast the remainder of the war.
I admire your positivity on this.

There are some things I would like to underline about this, though.

We are no longer protected by the lack of technology like back in 1941. In this regard the tables have not only turned, but are swinging in an unprecedented fashion.

The potential adversary is no longer limited to the Axis Powers. It is a whole new musical being played by the orchestra now.

Our administration is deliberately throwing insults at our allies. The VP has stepped on literally every war veterans honor in allied countries.

It’s no less than embarrassing.

If you are concerned about an attack on the US then you should be applauding that the border is becoming more secure.

I don't think anyone attacking the US wants to leave the entire country as a nuclear wasteland, nor do I think they would want to fry all of our electronics with a massive EMP. Taking down the grid for two months would be sufficient to bring the US to its knees and you can do that by taking out 10 substations. China can manufacture replacements for those substations so that a few months later they can arrive and reboot the grid.

Like any war you can't take control of a territory without boots on the ground (or in this case robots).

If they are going to wipe out a country of 350 million and destroy the world's economy they are going to want some compensation for their trouble. I doubt they want Hollywood or any of our high priced lawyers or stock brokers or financiers or even playgrounds like Disney world. But they will want our farmland and they will want to be able to farm that land relatively quickly.

The Secret Service gives a little boy his dream, a 95 year old Mom has her son back, a young man gets into West Point after hard work. All these are American stories. And yet Dems and some here can't get it into their empty heads why we voted for DT. smh

Pure Hatred for the man is all I can think of. Not very healthy for them.:D

Attrition, They take everything but the US and then it falls due to attrition.

Yeah, I thought that was great when President Trump made him a Secret Service Agent!!
As for the Dims, they did not stand or clap for anything, just sat there stone faced with their silly little signs. SHAME.
That swamp needs to be drained. I am very pleased with President Trumps picks for his cabinet, and other positions, young people mostly, and it seems they are all ready to MAGA. This is our new Republic, either get on board or get out of the way. My two cents.
The dems clapped for the billions spent for dictator Zelenskum. The kickbacks must be huge for them.

Trump knows both sides are corrupt to the core. The Dems make money off Zelenskum.

They did? I guess I Missed that. But did they stand up and clap, or just sat and clapped? If they just sat and clapped, then it seems to me that was only half-fast support for it Hmm.

The President does not stand up against the tyrant in Russia. I don’t know why. What I do know is that his actions are setting the European wheels in motion. I don’t think some of you really fathom how serious the situation is now. We’re on the brink of a global conflict.

That beautiful, big blue ocean Trump is taking about will soon become nothing but a pond, quite literally.

Even back in 1941 a big, beautiful ocean shrunk into a tiny lake. Remember that, you people.
Personally, I don't think we're on the brink of a global conflict but more likely on the brink of a One World Order.

I'm interested in learning why you believe that?
Not that I disagree with you, it's just that many of the globalist have said that the NWO aka Great Reset will occur when great conflicts like a WW will destroy the old.

that seems to be the situation.

after trump-z man dustup, there was lot of hand wringing about " trump damaging our spot in the world community"

" world community" is about 3 steps away from a new world order.

I don't follow what you mean.
Can you explain this?

Oh, and in your opinion you think Trump and MAGA will simply step aside for a one world leader in the UN to be in charge?

yes, after the trump-zelensky thing, there was a lot a chatter on social media about " trump hurting our standing in the world community"

my point was that if many people are bought into being part of a " world community", it will not take a lot of convincing ton get them to accept a one world government.

hope that was more clear.

If you still had a shred of integrity left you would know that the dictator’s name is Putin. You need to stop being force fed by Trump’s lies.

Certainly the "world community" of globalism is growing yearly to some degree. However, I think their nationalism will reemerge as they see the positive economic rebound of USA. What would likely change that is a great depression and the great Reset that has been promoted by the globalists.

Babylon Bee Response to the Speech
BTW, if anyone has not listened to the actual raw speech yet, I recommend it highly. The video in the OP is an unedited recording with no commentary, while the link provided has commentary, which ever preference you may have.

The Donald's speech was an embarrassment to the country. It was filled with loony conspiracies and lies. Some of the things he said were so ridiculous people couldn't help laughing. For example, he said "the days of rule by unelected bureaucrats are over." Oops, guess he forgot about unelected bureaucrat number one, Leon Muskrat. His idea of selling citizenships also got a pretty good laugh. Donald has already paused his tariffs on Canada and Mexico (again) after the stock market took a dive. Anyone else get the feeling the country is being governed by someone who is completely clueless and is making it up as he goes?

Making it up as he goes sounds pretty much accurate. The way things are unfolding is not good enough for saying he’s learning as he goes lol.

yes, it was terrible how he would even rise and clap for a child with brain cancer...

oh wait, that was not trump. that was the dems.

and here you are bashing a fine speech, and saying not one word how the dems would not clap for anything pro america...wow.
