The Technocrats say everything about the tariffs but who owns the companies in the US where they make the things that say "made in the USA" like,

Truly made in America is hard to find.
And Canada ain't going to be buying it, if it possible to do without, so there is that.

And a whole host of other's also like Chrysler,Gerber,Frenches,7Eleven,Lucky strike,John Hancock,Frigidaire,IBM ect. This part is spooky China owns 384,000 acres of our(their) agriculture farmland. There were too many in the USA that sold out their own country for immediate monetary gain.

I really do not think it can be fixed in the short run, maybe in the long run, but trying to fix decades of crony capitalism is going to be painful, especially when crony capitalists are trying to do the fixing.

The more I look for who owns what it makes me realize that if the tariff is 25% and the company is owned by a foreigner that gets a tax break then they don't suffer any loss. The price is just passed along to the consumer who works for these companies but we feel like we did something about it.
