We can not be CHRIST as in ''THE'' anointed ONE. However we are anointed, we do have the same Spirit in us that Christ had in Him, and we are to be as Christ in this word, per 1st John 4:17

lil why did JEsus say to Saul.... SAUL SAUL why do you persecuteth ME? And did Jesus not say to Father in John 17... I IN THEM!!! If Jesus is in you the Spirit of Christ Jesus is in you and YOU ARE ONE with Him. We cannot be Jesus, but He can be us! Jesus said... We make up His Body, His Church, Not Him making up our church! We are the Church, the Body He is the Head... We are not the Head we are the Body!

As a husband is the head of a family, so is Jesus the Head of His Church! Easy to understand the Body does what the HEAD tells it to do. Good parible in Eph 5:23...

The Body of Chrsit Jesus today is HIS Church... Chrsit is in ALL that are saved... Clearly seen in Eph 4...
4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Because he was persecuting Christians and Jesus wanted him to serve Him instead.

Not to nic pick, but Christ is not in everyone, only in those that have yielded to Him making Him Lord of their lives.

Well, automatically assuming that we're Christian in spite of one's point of view.

ACCIDENTAL = on accident! As in, you didn't mean to do it!
Yes some people sin without meaning to. Strangelove like to separate willful sin from accidental. I guess you will have to ask him why. All sin wilfull or accidental needs to be repented of.

Lol!

You are the one seperating out the sin. You were the one who first talked about 'MISTAKES'.

We can, and Jesus could have too. He chose not to, and so can we.
Here we go excusing sin. "I did not mean to do it, it was an accident! or worst yet, "Satan made me do it" Excusing sin is wrong. There are no such things as accidental sins. If our minds or flesh were not tempted to do it in the first place. we would never have done it.

I guess when your trying to be "perfect" you need to have an excuse, otherwise your doctrine falls apart. and you end up crashing and burnign (Like I have seen so many do) because you cna't live up to the standard. So We call them accidental.

yeah your right. even the pharisees never claimed accidental sins, they claimed sinless!

JESUS COULD HAVE SINNED?
oh my goodness.

God manifest in the flesh.
ABHORENT OF SIN.
condescended to dwell among men to fulfill His Righteous Legal requirements.

"could have sinned" but chose not to.

i wonder....do you know why Jesus sweat blood in Gethsemane?
what was the internal pressure that caused such anguish?
