Today is a work day for me also .

I love going to work on Tuesday knowing that tomorrow is another day off .

You have quite the impressive garden there, as I don't think I've met anyone who was growing pineapples!! Amazing!
Unfortunately, I have a Killer Thumb when it comes to plants but I keep trying!! I have a small indoor garden as I have no means of planting an outdoor one (and would probably find that too much to keep up with.) Every morning after I get my coffee, I go in to greet my plants and tell them what a good job they're doing -- in the hopes of convincing them to stick around!
I tend to read the Bible every other day or so -- I find I need a day off or two to try to digest, though I read the "Our Daily Bread" devotional every day.
As for dinner... I know this sounds awful, but... I've had a hankering for a box of good old Kraft macaroni and cheese.
Yes, I've had homemade and made renditions on my own, but for some reason, when it comes to comfort food, I keep on running back to my trusty old friend, Kraft.

I dunno. I woke up after one of the craziest breakthroughs with God last night. So I'm still in awe about it.
I even reached out to a past relationship, forgave that person for hurting me and it felt great to have the Jesus in me to give me that courage.
May I ask, did you also ask for the other person's forgiveness?
In any friendship or relationship, the wrongs are never-one sided.
Forgiving the other person is only half of the equation.
I say this as a person who has been "forgiven" by people who had no acknowledgement of what they themselves had done wrong.
Forgive me, but it always tears at my own scars when I read stories of forgiveness that is given and never asked for in return.
Thank you for this very honest answer.
Maybe, forgiveness is sometimes offered but not asked for because the person is coming from a place of unsurety or fear of being denied forgiveness in return -- I hadn't considered that.

So... I don't really know you, so all I can go on is what I have observed from people in general.
From what I have observed, if you are not able to receive their forgiveness, that indicates a high probability that you have not really forgiven them.
Sounds like me and those cheeseburgers at the auction house...
I hang out at the auction house on Saturday nights. They have a cook shack in the back that makes cheeseburgers that my father has rated the best cheeseburgers he has ever had.
I like my cheeseburger with three onion rings, ketchup and ranch on it. But lately I have come to the uncomfortable realization that I'm not as young as I used to be and I can't pack it away like I used to could. Sometimes shortly after I come home from the auction, I am up for a few hours with an unhappy stomach.

But maybe in some cases, they were actually afraid to ask for forgiveness.
