The Lord revealed to me, maybe 3 years ago, that the occult would increase in America, and in every way, from the media to the homes, sadly, in many churches they practice the occult.

It was simple, I was looking at t.v. and it was past October, but they were showing the Exorcist. And I said, ''Lord, this is strange, why are they still showing scary movies out of season?'' And then I kept seeing it pop up everywhere. And Harry Potter got more popular.

I asked the Lord to show me what was going on. And he did.

You would be VERY surprised at how much influence the occult has in America. So much so that the people look completely dead, and they don't even have their own wills.

I went into an old city where I grew up, and I had not been there in a long time. When I even ENTERED the city I knew that it was full of evil, something was not right. But I could not see it. Then, my 2nd night of being in the city I went into a mall, an old mall we used to go to.

I WAS COMPLETELY AMAZED!! I felt like I was walking through Sodom!!! Men with men in groups like women, women with women, all sorts of perversion. As if it was homosexual night. Not only that, the people walking the streets looked dead also. My own cousin was a part of this mess.

There were other things that happened that night that now, I think all the more strange. One of the girlfriends of my cousin attacked her so badly like an animal, and she bit into her eybeball trying to bite it out, and put a LARGE bruise on her face, closing up almost half her face.

WHAT????!!!

But this is not coming only from those who are under the government, but from those who run it. I have seen the Lord remove people at my asking. I have seen him do it over night. We need more people to pray against what is happening here. More people to get to the root of the issues here. If not, many people will end up in hell, and full of demons.

Yes, demons, possession, those things will come on this country also, if someone does not set it straight.

Any person who lives after their imaginations is subject to error. Children included. The bad parent, and in this case, Christian parent, is the one who leaves their children to their own imaginations, which the Lord says is evil continually. YES! Children.

Many parents let video games and televisions raise their children, meanwhile they are teaching their children to obey movies and games, and not teaching them to obey Jesus.

So when your child comes up and says, ''Mommy, my friend said I can REALLY be a wizard...''

Now, just in case you think it is foolish, I live, not to far from a wizard university, where they.... ACTUALLY teach people to become wizards. Imaginations huh?

C.S. Lewis was exposing the dangers of it...not promoting it in any way. So I say he didn't go to hell for it. (I have a book or two on all of the meanings behind C.S. Lewis' work in the Chronicles of Narnia.)

Perhaps instead of praying that God should remove these people and strike them from the Earth we should show them Christ's love and mercy, like Saint Francis of Assisi. He refused no one and converted many not through his preaching, but because he acted like Christ.

I was a practising pagan before I found Jesus. I'm not going to hell for it. Witchcraft and some prayers are the same thing. There is some form of ritual involved and God/gods is/are asked for something. The difference between Christian prayer and Pagan witchcraft is the same as between Christian prayer and Muslim prayer and all other religions prayers.
Witchcraft isn't related to Satan any more than other religions are. All Christian festivals, Christmas (yule), All Hallows Eve (Samhain), Easter (Oestre)...they're from the pagan festivals which are based around the moon and seasons.

I doubt children who dress up for hallowe'en are going around thinking 'Satan is so cool because we're celebrating his day'. No, they're thinking 'we get to dress up in costumes and go to get sweeties'.
Is there also a problem in celebrating birthdays with fancy dress?

I was beginning to wonder if it was dressing up in general.
I have been looking more into this whole halloween thing and did you know that in Ireland (on samhain) they thought that the barrier to the spirit world grew thing so they lit fires and dressed up to HIDE from the evil spirits that might harm them?

I havent any solid evidence on that but there are many similarities in old tribal rituals, possibly to do with atilla the hun trying to take over and then the roman empire/slave trade and the invasion of the vikings? there was also an ancient european religion, i forget its name that was used all over so it is possible it originated in scotland and spread.

I'm just throwing this out here, and I know this sounds crazy and unimaginable, buuuut KIDS HAVE IMAGINATIONS AND ARE GOING TO PLAY PRETEND.

There's like a one in a million chance that a kids is really going to grow up believing in witch craft.

Oh yeah, I don't know if anyone's ever thought about this, but there's this thing called parenting. You know, teaching your kids right from wrong, and that they aren't going to be witches and wizards (not blaming everything on the world).

Maybe ts just me but I think it is wise to teach kids the difference between pretend and reality. Kids will be exposed to all sorts of things rather you want them or not. they will eventually leave home and meet people who DO NOT AGREE with them and the beliefs and values we try and teach them.

I would rather that the kids be exposed to them at home and be taught how to respond then to be thrown in unfamiliar territories when they are in college and be sucked into the drugs and parties and dating.

I would teach them it is a game but you never do it for real and if any spirits actually make contact to tell me immediately no matter what.

My kids like to pretend to be super heroes, fairies, princesses, firefighters, doctors, cooks, monsters, penguins, etc. they play dress up all the time, Halloween to them is just a day where everyone else joins in and plays dress up with them.

I don't see the problem in it as long as reality and fantasy are distinct.

I think when you are a parent you have to pick your battles. Same with the whole Santa Claus and Christmas thing or the Easter Bunny.

Sometimes I'm glad to be a woman and leave such decisions up to my husband and his judgment and if he doesn't see anything wrong with celebrating those holidays why should I?

Originally Halloween was a celebration for the end of summer. It came from the festival Samhain which translates into summers end. It is only later that paganism had anything to do with it. In fact it officially does not, it was only that they had a festival at roughly the same time of year.

Samhain is pronounced "sow-in", with "sow" rhyming with cow. In Ireland the festival was known as Samhein, or La Samon, the Feast of the Sun. In Scotland, the celebration was known as Hallowe'en. In Welsh it's Nos Galen-gaeof (that is, the Night of the Winter Calends. According to the Irish English dictionary published by the Irish Texts Society: "Samhain, All Hallowtide, the feast of the dead in Pagan and Christian times, signalizing the close of harvest and the initiation of the winter season, lasting till May, during which troops (esp. the Fiann) were quartered.

The Scottish Gaelis Dictionary defines it as "Hallowtide. The Feast of All Soula. Sam + Fuin = end of summer."(2) Contrary to the information published by many organizations, there is no archaeological or literary evidence to indicate that Samhain was a deity. my two cents, I would let my kids read whatever and read it to and then discuss how it reflects the world, the thoughts of the author and what God's word says about it and the different religious and world views the author portrays in their depiction of certain characters and events and if the characters are believable and what lessons such things teach them.

I would treat the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and the Narnia series as parables that reflect the authors view of the world and the morality and spiritual laws governing the universe in their minds and then I would point them back to the Bible and ask what does GOD tell us is the TRUTH and how do the stories differ from God's truth and how do the stories line up with the underlying moral and spiritual truths revealed in His Word.
