Firstly, accepting for discussion your mind, heart, will analysis, I just read what's there. What they heard stabbed them in the heart.

I don't find this to be a unique experience for human beings to hear something that does this to them. These Jews just became convinced they'd killed the Jewish Messiah/King the Jews had been awaiting for many generations.

And in this section, we're not clearly told that some didn't believe.

So, for me it's similar to the soils parable we're discussing on the other thread, where we're only told so much and then we speculate by trying to debatably insert things.

I'm going to go to the other thread so won't be answering you here.
But only some were so influenced. This was the context of my question. All heard the same thing. Why the difference in responses?

Verse 41...only those that gladly received the word were baptized. Hence, there were others who did not gladly receive the word.
Had looked at that already. It doesn't say only.

NET Acts 2:41 So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added.

Side note: this is the same word used in Mark's(?) version of the soils parable.

Which would be good to discuss further, but you know far more than 3,000 heard the sermon and that the context affirms that some responded. Thus, some didn't.

Are you really prepared to say only 3,000 heard the sermon?

If you want to show me in Scripture that there were more, I'll look at it. Admittedly I wasn't looking for it and I don't recall off hand. If you want to speculate, then I'll stay with what's said in 2:41.

You must assume that God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven on that feast day in Jerusalem amounted to only 3K.

Did some respond who did not gladly receive the message and got baptized?

You speculate that every God-fearing Jew from every nation under heaven present that day amounted to 3k.

At the very least you should be able to see your own speculations. Apparently you cannot.

Answer yourself with specific Scripture and explain it. The Text says what it says.
Of course they didn't. Only those who gladly received got baptized. To disagree with such a statement merely shows the absurd lengths to which people go to in order to maintain their bias.

Where did I disagree with you? I just had you answer your own question. This is bias?

I'm not even sure I understood your question.
