Hell is eternal separation from God.

And what scripture says that? Rev 20 speaks of the LOF as the second death, not eternal separation. The unsaved already live separated from God. That isn't the fate the bible says they will have.

The second death is the eternal separation from God.

The second death is the eternal separation from God.

Not what scripture says though. It is a death and a destruction according to scripture, not a separation since there is nothing left of them to be separated from God.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Mat_10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

There is a death, then destruction. No "separation".

John 7:6-10
6 Then Jesus said to them: My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready. 7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth: because I give testimony of it, that the works thereof are evil. 8 Go you up to this festival day, but I go not up to this festival day: because my time is not accomplished. 9 When he had said these things, he himself stayed in Galilee. 10 But after his brethren were gone up, then he also went up to the feast, not openly, but, as it were, in secret.

John 15:16-20
16 You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go, and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another. 18 If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you. 19 If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember my word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also.
Not sure what these passages have to do with the question.
Are you asking whether apostasy is possible?
The "sour 16" including Heb. 6:4-6 & 10:23-39 indicate the answer is yes.

There is separation instead of salvation per the Parable of the Sheep and Goats,
and then there is eternal destruction or death after justice is achieved in hell
perhaps experiencing agony in accordance with the principal of “eye for eye” (Matt. 5:38),
after which souls are destroyed forever (per John 17:12, Rom. 9:22, Gal. 6:8, Phil. 3:19, 2Thes. 1:9, 2Pet. 3:7 & Rev. 20:13-14),
which would be both the final/second death and eternal separation.

The separation is sheep from goats, not goats from God.

I have heard people proclaim I do not see evidence that God exists, or I don't believe in Jesus like I don't believe in Santa Clause/Easter Bunny/etc, or they believe things can be explained through research rather than always using the God card whenever we don't understand something right away.

I have heard people say they don't believe in religion as if that equals to God. They have said they never put much thought into whether or not God is real. Some even just said they don't have time for God or to learn if He is real.

Each time someone would give me such a response as listed above I have asked do you hate God or the idea of God?

No one ever said they hated or had hatred towards God. They just didn't want to make time for God is how I interpreted their responses.

So I honestly believe more people will be in Hell because they were too busy to deal with the idea of God.

I honestly believe the ones that truly hate God are the Fallen Angels and not the human beings.

But in this thread I don't believe logic plays an important role because some severely lack logic.
