This is what I mean about listening to you tube stories about flat earth and shape shifting lizzards. I just went strait to the W.H.O. website and there is no statement or story about 13% of the entire world's population disappearing. Not in China not anywhere. The W.H.O never said that never claimed that not once not ever.

Second the you tube video of elon musk saying 800 million Chinese people disappeared is cut and pasted from a video where he was taking about population reduction in the workforce. He said in a hypothetical reduction of 8-9 hundred million people it would take a loss of 40% of a generation over 3 generations. He not once. Not one single time said 800 million people disappeared. Not even once. How many of these cut and pasted 100% fake lying videos are you gonna stand behind.

I heard the same thing during the pandemic. It was not my job to prove the vaccine was safe and effective, it was the government regulators job before mandating it.

In the same way neither you nor I are in a position to verify these claims, but China could easily debunk them if they are false by simply being transparent. Instead they are hiding under the fig leaf of national security and removing such sensitive information as how much soy sauce is sold each year.

China's demographics are going to be like that. After Mao took over in '49 he pushed for mass births. Then the Great Leap forward killed off between 15-51 million. Anyway they were encouraged after this going into the 60's to just pump out children. So you are going to see a uptick in the 90's and 2000 as these come to age start careers, get married, and start families. So there is going to be a greater need for housing.

Then the late 70's early 80's they started their one child policy so that demographic is what we are filtering through now and will be so for some time since it ran till 2015. After that they went to a two child policy. However, the one child policy is truly destructive since they would get rid of girls and keep boys for the one child.

I would not quote me directly on this as going from memory, but believe I read a statistic as of right now they stand at a shortage of 40 million women to marry eligible bachelor's. They have even taken to pressure the women they do have to get married. If a woman is unmarried and over 25 they refer to them as Sheng nu or leftover women.

The sexual revolution is the biggest change to humanity of any revolution's in the history of mankind. China is finding out what the west now knows you push for women to be like men and be career driven. The drive for women to have children or have more children drops. China's population, which Beijing put at 1.41 billion as of 2023, is now projected to drop to 1.36 billion by 2025, according to Ada Li, a senior industry analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, based on United Nations data. This decline is part of a broader trend of dropping fertility rates and an increasing number of senior citizens, which many analysts fear will negatively impact the country's economy.

Furthermore, Yi Fuxian predicts that China's population could drop to 330 million by the end of the century if the total fertility rate remains at 0.8.

Wow, completely different explanation. Yes, some people may have died, but it seems the rich have fled the country. When the factories close down they move to Vietnam or some other country you can imagine the middle class managers also fled and the owners fled because they stiffed their workers. They don't want to remain in the country for the angry mob to find and kill.

This could explain why the malls are empty. Perhaps 90% of Chinese are too poor to shop there, but if the rich flee, if the managers flee and if the factories close down it explains why no one is shopping the upscale mall and why many of the shops are shut down as well.

I have been to many big cities, NYC, London, Chicago, LA, Houston, etc. But none of those cities has 12 million people.

I have also been to Taipei, and Hong Kong and it is wall to wall people. So for me to see pictures of streets that are empty in the middle of the day in a Chinese city of 12 million , that to me instantly says something is wrong.

I get it if people have not been to Asia or China, but for those who have been these pictures are unimaginable.
