Why would anyone be so arrogant as to change the Word of God by attaching a definitive (alone) to a scripture?

A person can be batised a thousand times and it doesn't mean anything unless they put their trust in Our father.
I'm penicoatal but not under oneness theology i have been baptised. Baptism is important it's just not necessary for salvation. I said baptism wasn't important but what I meant was in collation to salvation. just don't believe if someone cat follow obedience at death to be baptised that does not mean they aren't save.

It's impossible that God told Moses Elohim is singular and to you it's plural.
That means God lied to someone.
Who should I believe between you and Moses?
the issue is understanding what faith is and where ot comes from . when they see things like meant to teach us about saving faith they invent reasons it isn’t true or doesn’t apply to us

airs an easy to understand teaching especially if you know the story of faithful Abraham and his promised covenant and how he believed God first and god called him righteous …..and then he was tested and acted in faith later fulfilling Gods word of righteousness .
But instead a few create all these concepts like “ that’s only for the people James was specifically writing to “ it doesn’t apply I’m saved by grace through faith” or “only Paul’s letters apply to us “ or “ you just don’t get it “
even though it just plainly says what it says most often . There’s alot of this now days

It was always going to happen that many in the church would part from true doctrine and embrace fables and false teachers both Peter and Paul foretold it . I’d say we’re probably on the back end of that because there are many doctrines taught and believed , even some tbat are completely designed to avoid the real gospel that promises salvation and create another
