Why google stuff rather than study the Bible and believe that ? The Bible is your better friendYep. You have no clue. Google is your friend.
Why google stuff rather than study the Bible and believe that ? The Bible is your better friendYep. You have no clue. Google is your friend.
Why would anyone be so arrogant as to change the Word of God by attaching a definitive (alone) to a scripture? For it is BY GRACE WE HAVE BEEN SAVED (grace alone) THROUGH FAITH (God will not force you to recieve his gift of salvation)
why would anyone want to add their filthy rotten rrags to the grace of God and think God will accept this as payment for sin.
I dont care what you think you know. Feel free to carry on.Why google stuff rather than study the Bible and believe that ? The Bible is your better friend
I’m basically trying to avoid you guys at this point and ok let’s agree to disagree and move on god blessI dont care what you think you know. Feel free to carry on.
Why would anyone be so arrogant as to change the Word of God by attaching a definitive (alone) to a scripture?
Just let the verses mean what is stated and without your add-ons.
I’m basically trying to avoid you guys at this point and ok let’s agree to disagree and move on god bless
You use words in English like ain't that means nothing to anyone else so why is there an issue with God defining Elohim as singular? You have posted it more than twice.
"Elohim" IS the plural of God. I would think being a double secret agent of Moses Hebrew you would know that :
אֵ֔ל
Is the singular.
Or show us different.
Well, it seems I was wrong about your stance. The Trinity is a core Christian tenant.i believe what the Bible says about the father the son and the holy ghost is that’s what you mean .
My position is the father the son and the Holy Ghost are one .
Now before you explain why that’s wrong , I think you will consider scripture as to why I believe Jesus is the one .
So please consider why my position is what it is
“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
1 John 5:7 KJV
“For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,”
Colossians 2:9 NIV
So I believe Jesus is one with the father
“I and my Father are one.”
John 10:30 KJV
and tbat the Holy Ghost is Jesus spirit
“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”
Galatians 4:6 KJV
So yes of course I believe in the father the son and the Holy Ghost . I believe they are one and revealed in one who is Jesus Christ
finally to keep this short rather than keep repeating the same things I would just summarize what I believe here
“There is one body, of Jesus Christ )
and one Spirit, ( of Jesus Christ )
even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; ( eternal life in Christ Jesus )
one Lord, ( Jesus is lord )
one faith, ( in Christ Jesus )
one baptism, ( into Christ jesus )
one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”( father son and Holy Ghost manifest in one lord and king )
Ephesians 4:4-6
So yea brother I’ve read and prayed and everything and of soirée I believe in the three aspects of the one god .
The difference in my view and some others view here is that I Believe Jesus is the fulness of the trinity in one body with one name
So this
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”
Matthew 28:18-19 KJV
The only name there that is for the fulness of the godhead or “ trinity “ is Jesus one name
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12 KJV
i don’t know what you guys mean by “ oneness doctrine “ I’m just talking about what I’ve read on the Bible it seems to me that Jesus is the manifestation of God in full tbat he’s one with the father and his spirit is the holy ghost the spirit of Gods son .
some say god is three persons but I would say God is one person and has manifest himself in three ways the father in heaven the god of glory no man has seen , the son Jesus who came to earth to manifest that God to the world in himself and the holy spirit of Christ Jesus the son of God whicch makes us his children
“At that day ye shall
know that I am in my Father,
and ye in me,
and I in you.”
John 14:20 KJV
I am in him ( father )ye are in me ( son) and I am you ( holt ghost )
I believe god is one and has a living spirit and also came to be born among us in the flesh and body of Jesus Christ the one name under heaven by which we must be saved
i believe God is one and the father son and holy spirit are the three aspects of his identity but I don’t believe in three gods no , rather than he is one
Still. With my limited knowledge, I have given more to prove my point than you have. You use words in English like ain't that means nothing to anyone else so why is there an issue with God defining Elohim as singular?
Doesn't God have that right?
Well, it seems I was wrong about your stance. The Trinity is a core Christian tenant.
Three distinct persons in one essence.
All this twisted sentence dissecting just to protect a theology without a verse to cite (faith alone)???In the old English, Peter said repent ye (plural) and let every one of you (singular) be baptized.
In the Greek. Repent is 2nd person plural and is resolved by the phrase you shall recieve the gift of the Holy SPirit
Be baptized is second person singular. and is resolved by unto the remission of sin.
So gift of the spirit is given to all who repents.
the command to be baptized is given to these individuals. who had already received remission of sin.
which fits. as he said, those who believed (repented) were baptized.
Jesus alone... John 14:6.“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12 KJV
who else but Jesus suffered and died for your sins ? If it was only Jesus seems elementary
All detailed conversion accounts involved both water and Spirit. One did not negate the other. The accounts establish that the NT water baptism is an essential element of the rebirth. (Acts 2:4-41, 8:12-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7)
My question to you!here is a few for you to ponder on concerning the gospel. grace and works.
John 1: 12. But AS MANY AS HAVE RECIEVED HIM, to THEM he gave the right to become children, even TO THEM WHO BELIEVE (no works)
John 3, FOR God so loved the world he gave his only son that WHOEVER BELIEVES (trusts) in him will NEVER PERISH, and LIVE FOREVER (eternal life) for the son was not sent to judge, but that the world might be saved, he who BELIEVES is NOT CONDEMNED, he who does not believe is condemned already (no works)
John 4: 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will NEVER THIRST. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into EVERLASTING LIFE” (no works)
John 5: 24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he whoever HEARS MY WORD and BELIEVES IN HIM WHO SENT ME who sent Me HAS ETERNAL LIFE and SHALL NOT COME INTO JUDGMENT but HAS PASSED FROM DEATH TO LIFE (No works)
John 6: 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. HE WHO COMES TO ME shall NEVER HUNGER and he who BELIEVES IN ME shall NEVER THIRST (NO WORKS)
John 6: 37: and THE ONE WHO COMES TO ME I WILL BY NO MEANS CAST OUT 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, thatof all He has given Me I SHAL LOSE NOTHING, but SHOULD RAISE IT UP ON THE LAST DAY. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that EVERYONE WHO SEES AND BELIEVES IN HIM MAY HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE AND I WILL (NOT MIGHT) RAISE HIM ON THE LAST DAY (NO WORKS)
John 6: 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME HAS EVERLASTING LIFE. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that THAT ONE MAY EAT OF IT AND NOT DIE 51 am the living bread which came down from heaven. IF ANYONE EATS THIS BREAD HE WILL LIVE FOREVER (NO WORKS)
John 6: 63 It is the SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE ; the flesh profits nothing. THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK to you ARE SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE (SIGNIFYING THE BREAD FROM HEAVEN, THE FLESH AND BOOD ARE THE WORDS JESUS SPOKE. NOT THE PHYSICAL FOOD OR WORKS,)
EPH 1: 13 In Him YOU ALSO TRUSTED , after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also ,HAVING BELIEVED YOU WERE SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE 14 who IS THE GAURANTEE OF OUR INHERITANCE until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
THE INHERITANCE HE SAID WE ALREADY HAD IN THE 1ST 12 VERSES. (AGAIN, NO WORKS)
eph 2: 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses,MADE US ALIVE together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and RAISED US UP TOGETHER , and MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED (A COMPLETED ACTION) THROUGH FAITH , (AS MANY AS HAVE RECIEVED) and that NOT OF YOURSELVES ; it IS THE GIFT OF GOD, 9 NOT OF WORKS LEST ANYONE SHOULD BOAST (NO WORKS)
rom 4: 3 For what does the Scripture say? “ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD AND HE ACOUNTED IT TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.” 4 Now TO HIM WHO WORKS, THE WAGES ARE NOT COUNTED AS GRACE BUT DEBT (Works cancels out grace. and makes it a wage) 5 But TO HIM WHO DOES NOT WORK but BELIEVES ON HIM WHO JUSTIFIES THE UNGOLDY , his HIS FAITH IS ACCOUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS (AGAIN NO WORKS. PERIOD)
rom 4: 16 Therefore IT IF OF FAITH THAT IT MAY BE ACCORDING TO GRACE , so that THE PROMISE MAY BE SURE TO ALL THE SEED not only to those who are of the law, but also TO THOSE WHO ARE OF THE FAITH OF ABRAHAM , who is the father of us all (AGAIN, NO WORKS, IT IS OF GRACE THROUGH FAITH)
Rom 4: 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, 24 but ALSO FOR US, IT SHALL BE IMPUTED TO US WHO BELIEVE IN HIM WHO RAISED UP JESUS OUR LORD FROM THE DEAD , 25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was RAISED BECAUSE OF OUR JUSTIFICATION (AGAIN NO WORKS)
Rom 11: 6 And IF BY GRACE, THAN IT IS NO LONGER OF WORKS, ; otherwise GRACE IS NO LONGER GRACE.But IF IT IS OF WORKS, THEN IT IS NO LONGER OF GRACE. OTHERWISE WORK IS NO LONGER WORK (AS i HAVE SAID NUMEROUS TIME, GRACE + WORKS = WORKS.. GRACE AND WORKS CAN NOT MIX IN THE AREA OF SALVATION. ITS LIKE MIXING OIL AND WATER)
2 Tim 1: 9 who HAS SAVED US (A COMPLETED ACTION) and called us with a holy calling, NOT ACCORDING TO OUR WORKS , but ACCORDING TO HIS OWN PURPOSE AND GRACE which was GIVEN TO US in Christ Jesus BEFORE TIME BEGAN (AGAIN, NO WORKS. BUT GRACE)
Titus 3: 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (GOOD DEEDS) WHICH WE HAVE DONE , but ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED USthrough the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that HAVING BEEN JUSTIFIED BY HIS GRACE we should become HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE
(AGAIN, NO QUESTION HERE. PAUL LEAVES NO QUESTION. NO GOOD DEED CAN SAVE US,. WE ARE SAVED BY GODS MERCY, AND GIVEN THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE. WHICH IS PROMISED BEFORE TIME BEGAN
Titus 1: 2 in HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE which GOD WHO CAN NOT LIE PROMISED BEFORE TIME BEGAN
In the old English, Peter said repent ye (plural) and let every one of you (singular) be baptized.
The author of hebrews says the blood of bulls and goats never took away sin.
They pointed to Christ. who is the lamb of God who took all sin, from adam until the last man sins. on the cross.
it is the cross that saves all men in all ages
DON'T TELL ME THAT'S WHAT HIS WORD SAYS, PROVE THAT'S WHAT HIS WORD SAYS.thats what the word says.
if their sins were not remitted by the baptism of the spirit into the death of christ.
then they are still dead in their sins, and they got wet
no he did not change his rules
Get saved by grace through faith
once saved, obey me including water baptism

It's impossible that God told Moses Elohim is singular and to you it's plural.Still. With my limited knowledge, I have given more to prove my point than you have.
I can do the same as you:
God showed me that "Elohim" is plural. Don't make me post this twice!
The resources I have at my finger tips show me plural. So show me your resources that say it is singular.
Jesus alone... John 14:6.
faith alone... no verses.
