Why so defensive? You do know, thank you.
You started this, you responded to someone and said in #1,465
"Salvation occurs before baptism. Baptism is the first act of obedience for a new believer—an outward expression of the inward transformation"
So my second qustion THAT YOU NEVER ANSWERED WAS.
PROVE WITH HIS WORD, Baptism is the first act of obedience for a new believer—an outward expression of the inward transformation.
Now that you admit Sin will not enter Heaven you need to show HOW WE GET RID OF IT???
So 1. prove the baptizm part and 2. with scripture tell us how we get rid of our sins.
DON'T SAY JESUS PAID FOR THEM, HE DID IN FACT but that's WHAT HE DID I want to KNOW WHAT WE HAVE TO DO????

OK, prove that Baptism is the first act of a believer.
- Let's start with Jesus, who did not sin but was baptized with water before he began his earthly ministry. Are we greater than our Lord? Matthew 3:13-17
- ACTS 2:38 38 Peter [said] to them, “Repent and be baptized,* every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus said in Mark 1:14-16
14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
4. Jesus again John3:16-18
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
5. Romans chapter 10:9-10
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
FYI, do you have to confess before you are water-baptized, or do you believe after water baptism?
Water Baptism is an act of Faith by one who has been saved because they had to believe before they did it. IF not what are they being baptized into?
Read Romans 6 and learn the grammatical structure.
6. 6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Don't you know why you were baptized? Paul is saying that what you freely did was take part in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord, from the old man of sin to the new man in Christ. A Grave experience.
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.
8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.
10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Reckon yourselves to be dead to sin. The word 'reckon' means ' count it to be so because it is so.'
Now, there is the word of God. Please now ignore it 6 verses and passages and text for you to do whatever you like
