I believe the correlation is here:

1 Corinthians 15:45
So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam a life-giving spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!

and also here:
1 John 5:1
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves those born of Him.

How is it determined, definitively, exactly Who the phrase "born of Him" is referring to?

In the OT the coming Jesus is referred to as 'Immanuel' meaning 'God is with us' Isa 7:14 and Isa 8:8. In the NT Jesus says 'I and the Father are One' Jn 10:30. Great question btw!

“a child is born, unto us a son is given:”

his name shall be called”

Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”

“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. ( father son and Holy Ghost ) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:6, 9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

thats written of the son who was born and given unto us.

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I and my Father are one.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭

“I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, When his wrath is kindled but a little.

Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭2:7-8, 11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Finally

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:20-21‬ ‭

The son is the central figure of scripture because he is the fullness of God manifest in the flesh father son and Holy Ghost in one man bodily.

There is no one else

Father and I are one. John 10:30
“For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭2:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”

Jesus was clear, Father and him are One. He is the propitiation for sin 1 John 2:1-2, we are forgiven 1 John 2:12, best to read the whole Chapter and see once in belief we are made new and can hear Father in Spirit and Truth, Son being One with Father, being given 1John 2:27
To hear from Daddy. PaPa, Father directly in love to all in mercy6 and truth, thank you

The tag "father" isn't limited to paternal ancestors, but also applies to just
about anyone with the wherewithal to protect and sustain life, i.e. a
provider; either materially or spiritually, which includes folks in key political
positions (Gen 45:8) and/or religious positions. (2Kgs 2:12)

Israel's protectors and providers came and went in a succession of losers
and winners; whereas the one predicted to take David's throne in Isa 9:6-7
will be permanent.

Isa 9:7 . . Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.

Mic 4:2-4 . . And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go
up to the mountain of The Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and
he will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for the law shall
go forth of Zion, and the word of The Lord from Jerusalem.

. . And He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar
off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into
pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall
they learn war any more.

. . But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and
none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of The Lord of hosts hath
spoken it.

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 isn’t just a Christmas card verse. It’s a war declaration.

> “Unto us a child is born… a son is given… and the government shall be upon His shoulder.”

This verse tears a hole in the fabric of time. It tells us that the eternal God — YHWH, the I AM — stepped into flesh not just to comfort, but to conquer. Let’s break it down:

🔥 “A child is born” — Humanity

This speaks to Jesus’ full humanity. He didn’t just appear like an angel. He was born, from the womb of a virgin, stepping into our suffering, pain, and weakness. He wept, bled, was tempted — yet without sin.

⚔️ “A son is given” — Divinity

This isn’t just a baby — this is the eternal Son of God, given by the Father. John 3:16 echoes this:

> “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”

This gift wasn’t just to comfort us — it was to redeem and rule us.

👑 “The government shall be upon His shoulder” — Authority

Not the government of man. Not politics. This is about divine rule. He carries the weight of dominion, justice, and judgment. Revelation 19 shows this Son returning with many crowns, executing righteousness, and ruling the nations with a rod of iron.

🙌 “Wonderful, Counsellor” — Wisdom and Wonder

He doesn’t just give advice. He embodies divine wisdom. He is the Word (John 1:1). His counsel breaks chains, silences demons, and gives life to the dead.

💥 “The Mighty God” — No Debate

Let this crush every false doctrine. Jesus is not a god, not a created being, not just a prophet.
He is El Gibbor — the Warrior-God, Almighty.

> “In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” (Col. 2:9)

🕊 “The Everlasting Father” — Unity with the Father

This doesn’t confuse the Trinity. Isaiah uses titles of divine character. Jesus reflects the Father's eternal nature, His protection, provision, and eternal love. He said,

> “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father.” (John 14:9)

🌍 “The Prince of Peace” — Ruler of Reconciliation

Not peace like the world gives. Real peace — peace between God and man. The blood of His cross tore the veil, silenced the wrath of God, and destroyed the power of death.

---

This one verse shatters every human system, every false religion, every watered-down gospel.

Isaiah 9:6 declares that Jesus is not just a Savior — He’s the sovereign King.
And He’s not coming back as a baby. He’s coming back with fire in His eyes and a sword in His mouth (Rev. 19:11–16). This is the Messiah we preach. Not soft. Not safe. But holy, eternal, and unstoppable.

He rules. He reigns. And He will not be voted out.

To call Christ the Everlasting Father may not confuse the Trinity any more than it is already confusing for some,
but the best concept I have found is as follows:

The OT Shema (Deut. 6:4) teaches that God is one, and the NT also affirms that there is one God (Eph. 4:6, 1Tim. 2:5). However, the NT teaches that God relates to believers in three ways simultaneously: as the Father, as the Son and as the Holy Spirit (1 x 1 x 1=1).

The Father/Parenthood of God is indicated in Jesus’ model prayer (Matt. 6:9), throughout the Gospel of John (John 3:35, 5:17-18, etc.), and in the epistles of Paul (Rom. 4:11, 8:15, Phil. 2:11). God the Father and Christ’s Sonship are discussed in Hebrews 1:1-4. The Son of God also is mentioned by John (John 1:14, 3:16, etc.) and by Paul (Rom. 1:4, Gal. 2:20, 1Thes. 1:10). The Holy Spirit is mentioned in three successive chapters in John (John 14:26, 15:26, 16:13), frequently in the book of Acts (Acts 1:5, 2:4, 9:17, 13:2, 19:2), and in many of Paul’s letters (Rom. 8:4-26, 1Cor. 6:19, Eph. 4:30) as well as in some of the other epistles (2Pet. 1:21, Jude 20).

It might be helpful to discern which aspect of the triune God is the subject of various biblical statements. These divine aspects or “persons” may be distinguished by role: God the Father as creator or initiator (Gen. 1:1), God the Son as Messiah or mediator (1Tim. 2:5), and God the Spirit as indweller (Rom. 5:5). For example, 1 John 4:7 says love comes from (is initiated by) God (the Father), Galatians 5:22 says that love is a fruit of the (indwelling) Spirit, and Ephesians 3:18 speaks of the (mediating) love of Christ (Rom. 5:8, Eph. 2:18).

We can denote these distinctions by the use of three prepositions: God the Father is over all creation (Eph. 4:6), God the Son is Immanuel or with humanity (Matt. 1:23), and the Holy Spirit is within all believers (Eph. 1:13). A single passage that comes closest to indicating this distinction is Ephesians 3:14-19, in which Paul prays to the Father that through His Spirit of love Christ would dwell in believers’ hearts (also see 1Cor. 8:6).

When the Bible uses masculine words for God, it should be understood that only God the Son is human and had a sexual orientation while on earth. Gen. 1:26-27 states that both male and female were created in God’s image, referring not to androgyny but to personality, and Jesus said (in Matt. 22:30 & 19:11-12) that there is no marriage and thus no need for sexuality in heaven.

Actually, since the creation also manifests God (Rom 1:20, cf. John 1:1-3 & Psa. 33:6), in a sense God may be viewed as a “Quadity”. As Paul told the Athenians (Acts 17:28), “In Him we live and move and have our being.” God as Creation is throughout physical reality (called “panentheism”). However, since this mode of revelation is impersonal, it has rightly been de-emphasized by Christian denominations lest it lead to pantheism.

Thank you for not abbreviating, and being clear here to me at least, thank you as we each grow up unto maturity in Father and Son as Won for us to stand in trust to teach us how to walk circumspectly. Thank you Brother, insightful, God given through you to me at least

You're welcome and I am glad you appreciate the results of my systematic study of GW that connects as many dots as possible regarding the doctrine of the Trinity. I am working on doing something similar regarding the doctrine of election on the Hermeneutics thread that should be completed soon. I have the results so far posted in the lesson on Controversial Issues in our website:

🔥 SECTION 1: "The Trinity Is Already Confusing…"

> “To call Christ the Everlasting Father may not confuse the Trinity any more than it is already confusing for some...”

STOP. RIGHT. THERE.

This is how Satan slithers in — not with open denial, but with suggestion. “Did God really say?” (Gen. 3:1)

No, the Trinity is not confusing. It's mystery, not contradiction. Confusion comes when you try to shrink eternal truth into a seminary outline. Isaiah 9:6 isn’t confused — it’s revelation. It’s prophecy with thunder in its bones.

This verse doesn’t blur the lines between Father, Son, and Spirit — it glorifies the eternal divinity of Christ.

---

⚔️ SECTION 2: The Heretical Math Lesson (1 x 1 x 1 = 1)

> “The NT teaches that God relates to believers in three ways simultaneously: as the Father, as the Son, and as the Holy Spirit (1 x 1 x 1 = 1).”

This is shallow, tired, Sunday school logic that does more harm than good. God is not a mathematical equation. He is holy, uncreated, infinite, and revealed in three eternal Persons, not modes or functions.

That kind of teaching flirts with modalism — the ancient heresy that says God just appears in different forms. But the Word is clear:

Jesus prays to the Father (John 17)

The Spirit descends while the Father speaks and the Son is baptized (Luke 3:21–22)

The Father sends the Son, and the Son sends the Spirit (John 14–16)

That’s not one Person with multiple hats. That’s Trinitarian glory.

---

🪓 SECTION 3: The “Role” Reduction

> “These divine aspects or ‘persons’ may be distinguished by role: God the Father as creator… the Son as mediator… the Spirit as indweller…”

No. That’s functional reductionism. You’re reducing the Persons of the Godhead to job descriptions. God is not a cosmic employee clocking into different shifts.

The Father, Son, and Spirit are co-eternal, co-equal, and fully God — always operating in unity, but not interchangeable roles. Jesus isn’t just the “mediator,” He is YHWH in the flesh. The Spirit isn’t just “the indweller,” He is God who hovered over the waters of creation and raised Christ from the dead.

This breakdown is weak theology dressed up in grammatical categories. It sounds safe, but it strips power.

---

🔥 SECTION 4: The Gender Confusion Insert

> “Only God the Son is human and had a sexual orientation while on earth…”

What? Where is this coming from? Christ’s humanity never included sexual activity or orientation. That’s a carnal line of thinking — foreign to Scripture and unnecessary in this discussion.

God is referred to as Father not because He has human anatomy, but because He exercises loving, sovereign, covenantal authority. This “don’t forget females are also in the image of God” detour is a distraction from the central truth of Christ’s identity in Isaiah 9:6.

---

☠️ SECTION 5: The QUADITY Blasphemy

> “In a sense God may be viewed as a ‘Quadity’…”

BLASPHEMY.
This is where the response goes off the rails and into the abyss.

“Quadity”? That’s not biblical. That’s panentheistic garbage. That’s trying to blend Christianity with New Age cosmic mush.

God is not “part of creation.” He created all things.
God is not a force. He is Father, Son, and Spirit — not wind, tree, and molecule.

Romans 1:25 warns of those who “worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator.”
That’s exactly what happens when someone elevates creation as a “mode” of God’s revelation.

This is not orthodoxy. This is poison in a theological cup.

💥 Final Verdict

This entire response is a Trojan horse.
It sounds intellectual. It quotes Scripture. It uses flowery words.
But at its core — it is confusion wrapped in commentary.

It takes the blazing glory of Isaiah 9:6 and cools it into a cold puddle of religious relativism.

It doesn’t exalt Christ.

It doesn’t preach the incarnation.

It doesn’t tremble before the throne.

Instead, it whispers half-truths that neuter the gospel and exalt human understanding.

Thank you for not abbreviating, and being clear here to me at least, thank you as we each grow up unto maturity in Father and Son as Won for us to stand in trust to teach us how to walk circumspectly. Thank you Brother, insightful, God given through you to me at least
Respectfully, I don’t affirm theology just because it sounds spiritual. I test everything by the Word of God. Isaiah 9:6 isn't a soft comfort verse — it's a declaration of Christ’s eternal authority. Any response that reduces the Trinity to math, flirts with panentheism, or turns creation into a “quadity” isn't insight. It’s confusion. The true maturity we need is to love God enough to discern, correct, and uphold truth — even when it offends. Because false unity without truth is just a wide road to destruction.

To each of us to do as called, thank you to care and share, even while evil happens all around us. I see evil goes after those in belief to God as their leader, learning new daily and standing in trust to Father and Son as Won for them. Col 1:21-23 floors me. To see God is not holding anything I have done wrong against me. This type Love, 1 Cor 13:4-7 has changed me and is teaching me new in God's Spirit and Truth for us all to not condemn or be condemned John 4:23-24, Romans 8 floors me as well as Col 2 as well
To be accused of using Grace to get away with sin, is what Paul got from the Disciples, as Paul was not misusing grace as some think and say, in my honest opinion. God reveals this truth to each of us, in care for Souls, as God has and continues to do, thank you Love all is the call, even those that have done us wrong, which is not so easy to let go of either. Yet when do, the freedom, that comes from letting go and going to others that one did wrong to as well as anyone might have harmed, especially those that did not know it was you. Is freeing, beyond understanding
Done it and Wow, woe is me Isaiah 6:1-7 God loves us all to be real and accountable to our own wrongs as well, without fear anymore of what others might think and or say, once told truth about one's own sins too, thank you

Show me in the Bible where Jesus or the Holy Spirit ever does something that they are not obeying the Father?

Show me where the Father is asking the opinion of Jesus or Holy Spirit before His Will is done?

Yes, the Father, Son, Holy Spirit is 100% God!

But answer my first 2 questions because nothing ever done by Jesus or the Holy Spirit wasn't already FOREKNOWN and PREDESTINED by the Father first.
