Maybe One Day I will know all that you know .
I know nothing of myself, I do know, God loves us all. We, all got reconciled 2 Corinthians 5:17-20 by God through Son Jesus. Once I began to exercise to God, Thank you, even when I continue to sin (Not that I can't sin any longer) I see new from God's view, (2 Cor 12:2) God teaching me, not other people, not even myself. Teaching me in love and mercy given for all to become new and see new as Jesus saw to go to that cross, without any flesh fight back as Peter started to, when he pulled a sword and cut off Malchus's ear. I, saw me in Malchu's place and went, how?, when I saw Malchus's ear replaced, instantly and Jesus say okay I am ready, after rebuking Peter for doing that in the first place.
Wow, woe is me Isaiah 6:1-12

If the Holy Spirit is poured out onto someone, their desire will be to love the creator for the blessing which was freely given!
Anyone who thinks differently is looking for the creature to accomplish that which only the creator is able to do.......

Psalm 37 verse 4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Another question for open discussion

Why did God create Human kind.?

When i first heard of God / Jesus in a Youth Group they taught God created humankind as he wanted fellowship with a species that had free will

I of course read the bible and it soon became apparent that the Angels that God created first already had free will. eg Lucifer chose to disobey.

So why?

I still not sure why , so happy to hear peoples thoughts.

FAQ: How is the sacrifice of a man superior to the sacrifice of an animal?

REPLY: Human life was created in the image and likeness of God. No other
form of life came into existence with that distinction, viz: all other forms of
life were meant to be expendable, whereas human life was meant to be
sacred.

So then, a better question than the OP's might be: Why did God create
humans in the image and likeness of God?

Well; the thing is: Jesus was designated, and scheduled, for the cross before
the cosmos came into existence. (Mic 5:2, 1Pet 1:18-20 & Rev 13:8) Had he
been on track to come into the world with the image and likeness of an
animal, then the cross wouldn't had near enough value for God's purpose.

Animal sacrifices in the Temple for Atonement were teaching tools about the reality to come.
So, when the Cross came, men could be ready to be taught to learn what took place!

Let's make man in our Image
Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

"Image" Not God the most highest Psalm 82

We, at least me, are not God, god's, yes, we are in God's image only! to me at least in belief I now see after a long walk off a short pier daily with many mistakes made and still can make them and have, yet God continues in God's love for me and everyone else as well. 1John 2:1-2, 12, 27
And each has the free choice to choose, themselves, their place of worship, or God Father in risen Son Jesus alone. For me Jesus the way, the truth and new life in the risen Son risen by God Father, and I say thank you Father, Daddy, PaPa, seeing new by Son all sin taken away for us all, John 1:29 John 19:30 to either believe it or not in thankfulness to this done work now done, Psalm 103:12, Ezekiel 36:26, fulfilled in the risen Son to stand in belief to see Col 1:21-23, new in God Father's Spirit and Truth John 4:23-24 and love all, not a few, all, everyone in truth, yes even those that have done us wrong, amazing I assuredly have not made that up, knowing the first born me can't do that , Love all as is done by God in Son first
Ask Father for Daddy's imputed Love of 1 Cor. 13:4-7, and be new seeing new and no more fighting in you too. The same as shown us all, when Jesus went to the cross without any flesh fight back, you think?

It was our immaterial, invisible souls that were created in God's image.
Later, came the bodies for those souls to inhabit.

The human soul was created in God's image.

Colossians 1

13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

That's a lot to read and i was trying to find a summary and on his website it says that we are participants in this war which started in Heaven.
I have heard this interpretation too from our church but i think the OP has an axe to grind maybe. Or maybe not.
I just offered my piece of the axe by saying that No Doubt in this world would take away my faith in God. He knows what He is doing and i'm okay with His mysteries.
So when people want to throw doubt, then this is my answer. Be at peace with God's mysteries.

What if Eden was really in The Hevenly realm and not on Earth ?
That would make many comments invalid!
Yes, i agree with this and it's my personal favorite. It's a realm where physical bodies are configured in a way to stand in front of God's Holiness just like Adam and Eve were and when they were banished, there was an angel with a flaming sword there to prevent them.
So they, were the only 'hybrids' if you will between dimensions.
Of course there isn't anything in the Bible to suggest this but it's my favorite thought after reading the Bible.

What if Adam and Eve were created in The Heavenly realm ?

Perhaps You need to read The 2nd. Surah of The Quran for Your answer.
Koran? My friend, i don't want to say a whole lot here but where i come from, Muslims and Christians live in peace and harmony, most of the time.
The Muslims did some burnings of the churches in the early 90s but they're forgiven.

I wounder how many condemn The Quran who have never read It ? ?
I'm trying to not do this with you but since you posted it here then let's discuss it.
The Koran is a bad Copy/Paste of the Bible.
Reason being, they say that the crucifixion of Jesus was a hoax.
This makes the Koran the first Flat-Earther in terms of mindset when they discount personal testimony of 500 people other than Jesus's closets friends and family.
Also, what do you think the Romans were? Amateurs who didn't know how to kill people?
Have you seen an analysis by Lee Strobel on this?

There's a lot to say here but i can't take a book seriously when it discounts personal testimony.
Wish you all the best and may God bless you in your journey.

It's worth it Brother. I was a calvie and it changed me.

If we want the truth, it takes time, dedication and humility.( not saying you don't have these.)
There is a free booklet available online.
The Angelic Conflict rages around us.

It is also good to hear it being taught one piece at a time.
It's like learning algebra after you had just mastered simple math.

It is a must for anyone who wants to have inner peace, by understanding why we see so much conflict in the world around us.

A great quote from your link:

God created man to resolve this angelic conflict. Human volition is the focal point of the firestorm. Will man choose God’s grace plan of salvation or follow the arrogant system of Satan? Through the freewill decisions of mankind, God proves to Satan His perfect justice and love again and again.

These threads are a witness to the truth of the above quote.

God symbolizes by Adam. According to God it is inappropriate for God to be Alone.
GENESIS 2:18
18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
In the beginning God was alone. He created man in “His own image” in order to have eternal companions. Therefore out of Adam, God created Eve to become his wife.

Gen 2:21 “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.”

Gen 1:28 “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it…”

However God’s plan of having eternal companions was interrupted with the Fall of man into sin. This was caused by the temptation of Satan as Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden. As a result of the transgression of the commandment, man was denied access to the Tree of Life. This “tree” represents the habitation of God in man.

Gen 3:24 “So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”

I wounder how many condemn The Quran who have never read It ? ?
EXCERPTS FROM THE QUR’AN
(The Meaning of the Holy Qur’an, by Abdullah Yusuf Ali, 1999)

Significant teachings in the Quran are compared with the Bible, especially the New Testament. Often only the first instance of a teaching in the Quran is noted. The Surah and verse are placed within parentheses; biblical references within brackets.

(Surah 1) [introduction] God/Allah is praiseworthy, merciful and Judge. [2CR 1:3, LK 6:36, RM 2:16]

(2:2) This book contains sure guidance for those who believe. [2:89&136, 2TM 3:16-17]

(2:8) Some people say they believe, but they do not. [MT 7:21, JN 13:35]

(2:29) God created all things on earth. [GN 1, RM 1:25]

(2:34) We said to the angels… [“majestic plural” also in GN 3:22]

(2:36) Satan made Adam & Eve slip from the Garden. [GN 3:1-15]

(2:40) Children of Israel, fulfill God’s covenant. [with Abraham (GN 17:1-7) for the salvation of all people (per IS 42:1&6, 49:6)]

(2:49) We delivered you from Pharaoh [EX 14:23-31] and (v.53:) gave Moses the Scripture and Criterion. [Cf. S.3, v.3-4. Criterion seems to mean miracles (DT 34:9-12)]

(2:61) They slew Allah’s messengers. [MT 23:37]

(2:62) Those who believe in the Quran and follow the Jewish scriptures and the Christians shall have their reward. [RM 2:28-29, 3:29-30, 4:9-12&16-17, GL 3:6-14, EPH 2:11-22]

(2:77) Allah knows what we think. [ACTS 1:24, 1CR 4:5, 14:25]

(2:83) Worship Allah, treat with kindness your parents, orphans and the poor. [EPH 4:32, 6:1-3, JM 1:27, GL 2:10, 1CR 13:3]

(2:87) We gave Jesus the Holy Spirit. [See also S.2:253, JN 14:16-17]

(2:89) There comes to them a book from Allah, confirming what is with them. [See f.94, v.136, S.6:92 & S.10:37]

(2:111f) They say: “None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian.” Nay, whoever submits His whole self to Allah [Muslim] and is a doer of good—he will get his reward with his Lord. [God’s will is for us to be all three: a spiritual Jew (RM 2:29) = a genuine Christian (JM 2:17) = a true Muslim (MT 22:37-40).

(2:113) The Jews and Christians quarrel, yet they profess to study the same Book, but Allah will judge. [M also quarrel with J & C, who profess to serve the one God, but Paul taught that God’s servants (Muslims) must not quarrel (2TM 2:24, 1CR 1:10).]

(2:125) We covenanted with Abraham and Ismail. [and with Isaac! (GN 17:18-21)]

(2:133) We shall worship the God of Abraham…—the one true God. [Cf. JN 17:3.]

(2:135) Christians joined gods [Jesus and HS] with Allah. [One God relates to humanity in three normative ways; see S.2:87 & 1TM 2:5.]

(2:136) We believe in the revelation given to Moses and Jesus and to all Prophets; we make no difference between them. [See S.2:89, S.3:3&84; Jesus is unique and exalted as Messiah. (PHP 2:9-11)]

(2:137) You are on the right path; if they turn back, it is they who are in schism. [Schism is caused by those who deny the truth in both the NT and Quran. Paul wrote about how to bridge this schism in GL 3:1-29. See note for v.111.]

(2:140) Were the descendants of Abraham Jews or Christians? [Yes by faith, and also genuine Muslims as explained in the note on v.111.]

(2:143) Allah is kind and merciful to all people. [LK 6:35-36]

*(2:144 & 18:149f) Thy Qiblah [direction for prayer per f.141] is to turn your face toward the Sacred Mosque [in Makkah per f.148, cf. 1CR 3:16-17].

(2:153) Allah is with those who patiently persevere. [HB 10:36]

(2:161) Those who die rejecting Faith are cursed. [HB 9:27]

(2:168) Eat good things. [1TM 4:3-4]

*(2:183&185) Fasting is prescribed to you that ye may learn self-restraint… during the month of Ramadan. [Such practices are permissible but not salvific per the NT (GL 2:14-16 & 3:21-25).]

(2:190) Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you… (and v.193:) those who practice oppression [in self-defense per f.204, but cf. v.244. C also believe in just defense (based on RM 13:1-5), but stress spiritual warfare per EPH 6:12, 2CR 10:3-5, 2TM 4:7, MT 5:44. Compare terrorists with MT 5:9 & RM 12:18].

(2:195) Allah loves those who do good. [MT 5:44, RM 5:8-10, RM 13:1-4]

*(2:196) Complete the Hajj or Umrah if you can afford it. [pilgrimage to Makkah, also S.3:97, cf. note on fasting; RM 12:1, JN 6:29]

(2:207) The man who gives his life earns the pleasure of Allah. [Martyrdom, if necessary, is praised in Christianity, too (cf. MT 10:16-28), but not murder-suicides.]

(2:219) The sin of wine and gambling is greater than the benefit. [also 5:90; The NT bans drunkenness explicitly in EPH 5:18 and excessive gambling implicitly in 1TM 5:8, EPH 4:28, 2CR 8:12 & 9:6-11]

(2:221) Do not marry unbelieving women. [cf. 2CR 6:14]

*(2:272) Whatever good you give shall be rendered back to you. [Cf. ML3:10, 2CR9:6]

(2:284) Allah forgives and punishes as He wills. [Cf. RM 9:14-18, God as Potter]

(2:286) Allah does not burden a soul greater than it can bear. [Cf. 1CR 10:13 in terms of temptation]

(3:3-4) Allah sent down the Book, confirming what went before it, the Law and the Gospel. Before this He set down the Criterion (of judgment between right and wrong). [S.2:89 & RM 2:14-15]

(3:45-49) Allah will give the virgin Mary a Word from him, whose name will be Christ Jesus, who will be appointed a messenger to the children of Israel. [JN 1:14; Note the lack of mention of Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles (ACTS 13:46-47) for Christ.]

(3:135) Who can forgive sins except Allah? [LK 5:21]

(3:140) Allah takes martyrs and purges believers. [This and many following verses refer to the disastrous defeat in the battle at Uhud.]
