Trust me when I say I am nothing, I am truly the foolish things of the world, & in all I understand the once arrogant, and prideful position held in my heart has been beaten into a corner.

That said I am still full of rebellion in my own way, and praise THE GREAT G-D of JACOB still under HIS Education (training as I understand) & Mercy, & of Course it is by Grace we are saved, not of works lest any man should boast.

I see this as there is no deal to be made with G-D to get me into heaven, only Grace & the Blood of JESUS, yet I have a KING, and it is foolishness to remain in rebellion against HIM, joining in spirit with the
enemy

three things occur to me that one might think, 1) I am lying, which will do me/us Christians no good, 2) I misunderstood or am delusional, you judge 3) I am telling the truth & as Christians you should encourage me to follow my Direction from JESUS

-------
I was told to warn them about being lukewarm warm

To explain to them what that means
------------

my understanding of being lukewarm warm is when we pray hot, ( I suggest three hours a day, as The late John Wesley said. I read in his journals (in good faith) "he never thought much of a Christian that did not pray three hours a day")

Read your Bible, ( I also need to adhere to my own advice)

Sing Unto The Lord ( again much work needed here by me)

-------
cold would be partaking in the things of the world, (symbolic Egypt).... may include tv, phone, internet, gambling, gaming and such the like.... the lusts of the world, lack of temperance (control), ( mammon, food )

The list here is quite extensive, the lusts of the flesh, promoting self, our wants, promoting the devils kingdom in our hearts, or in the physical world. in a sense agreeing with the rebellion against G-D Almighty in our hearts! doing what you want, promoting self.

As opposed to death to self, the self can never put JESUS 1st in our hearts.

Only by G-D's Precious HOLY SPIRIT Can we mortify the deeds of the flesh, and have JESUS in HIS RIGHTFUL Position in our hearts.

Praying and Reading our Bibles, we collect G-D'S Spirit in all I understand, our food, our strength, our power, lent for the day.... ( as The People of the Book, Collected the Manna daily, each morning anew (symbolic))

when we engage in things of the world (flesh) we drain this strength, leaving us Luke warm... if your not even praying three hours a day or reading our Bibles, what temperature do you think we are? For we start our day Luke warm at best in all I understand.

I think many, many books could be written on the subject of Luke warm Christians and what this means, this is a small snap shot.

one thing I am learning the hard way, is this walk is most serious, although we are to carry The Joy of the LORD in our hearts always.

I am learning when The G-D of Jacob Gives me Direction, it is a very, very serious matter, not to adhere.

lo I have told you

may G-D Bless all that have read this far, IN JESUS GREAT NAME, especially my Christian Family. May The GREAT G-D of Abraham encourage you in JESUS MIGHTY NAME I pray.

until that day, in love & peace your brother in CHRIST

Is the "O" on your keyboard missing? I have an extra one I can rent to you.

Hummmm.....
I'm reminded of Collosians 2:21 for some reason here.

Where I have zero doubt that the OP believes himself....I'm not as confident.

it occurs to me if you new why I did that, I suppose you would not be joking around on the matter. So you must be genuine.

I think I do it out of Habit sometimes, it is a Jewish tradition ( in all I understand) GODS NAME is so HOLY and PERFECT AS HE IS.
so the scribes would not fully write out HIS NAME, to tarnish it with our feeble hands.. even this computer ink is without perfection compared to GODS PERFECTION

Reverence is the meaning.... in good faith, and as I understand

Just like when you move and meet new people or get a job and meet new people, those are what I call [(Divine Appointments)], because as a Believer in God we are to be a Witness for God. We might be the only [version of (Jesus)] they will ever know and you are to fulfill the Great Commission {Matthew 28} to\with them. I definitely believe God gives us messages [alerts, warnings, good news] that generally are for ourselves and many times for whoever we know including ourselves.

Even in the correct settings Tongues and Interpretation would be another form of what this Topic is about.

I'm a funny guy. I've just never heard of this tradition. But, then again, I'm not Jewish. Do they leave the O out in Jehovah as well? Not sure where the logic is in regards to reverence. But, like I said, I'm not Jewish, so I don't know. No offense intended. Just a wandering troll looking for answers to questions I've never thought of.

A lot of the Messianics have dropped the practice (but not all)

Today it's an accepted norm to write God's and Jesus's name in Hebrew as you can see in ISR 98 or one of the other Messianic Jewish Bibles. (Usually based out of South Africa for Publishing)

But some people can't write Hebrew so well.

It all centers around mis-using God's name. The terms Israel and Christian both have God's name included within them. So most believe that poor public actions will malign God's name instead of actually the word itself. But others are much more conservative. Judaism still holds to the tradition that If you are to actually write "the name", you must first ceremonially wash, get a new consecrated pen, then pray before dipping the pen in the consecrated ink. Which gets tedious for certain sections of scripture.

if I am telling the truth and was told to explain what Luke warm means, I am in my heart trying to do such a thing.

my understanding of being lukewarm warm is when we pray hot,

Did God literally tell you 'being lukewarm warm is when we pray hot'? Were those His exact words?

I ask because if God has given someone a prophetic word, their only responsibility is to repeat that message verbatim. He doesn't leave it up to us to try to interpret and explain through our personal understanding. I truly hope you can see the issue here.

I reread my post, I did say I SUGGEST three hours a day, as John Wesley quoted ( after all this I hope I have not misquoted him )
that is not a demand but a guide...

But you have also said this -

if your not even praying three hours a day or reading our Bibles, what temperature do you think we are? For we start our day Luke warm at best in all I understand.

Followed by -

lo I have told you...

Those are proclamations, judgments, and rules followed up with another "lo I have told you" as if you are speaking from God. There's nothing wrong with recommending prayer and bible study, but you have set yourself up as a prophetic authority. I liken it to this -

"God has given me a word that brussel sprouts are abhorrent and I've been told by Him to warn you. I therefore advise and suggest you turn to broccoli 3 times a day or suffer the consequences."

Same thing.
I look at praying as collecting strength from G-D in JESUS this is how I believe HE has set it up.

All throughout your comments, I see a lot of "I believe...", "My understanding...", "I feel...", "I look at..." - but I'm not seeing scripture to back it up. In other words, I see a lot of you and not much God in those statements. That again is very problematic.

Anyway - have a great day!

Is that what they mean by legalism?

Well it won't allow me to edit so to add to my post #49 the majority of people use the term God for every day speaking like [oh my God or other things] so the Hebrew Jews and modern Jews try to be less ignorant about tossing the word God around.

It's because God's Name is Holy and Revered and should be said in the most respectful kind of way to show He is first and foremost in your life before anyone and anything else.

Right. But what I don't understand is that God is not His name. Do they leave letters out of Jehovah too? Is that why they spell Yahweh with letters missing? You really have me interested in this.

So they believe using the word God is taking His name in vain?

Basically, yes. Taking his name in vain is calling one's self by his name, but not doing his will

But, couldn't the word God apply to any religions' god? Whether it be Jesus, Buddha or Mohamad? Doesn't there have to be an actual name to be taken in vain in order to take a name in vain? Like, I come to you preaching the doctrine of Islaam in Jesus name. That to me would be taking the Lords name in vain. Not really like hitting my thumb with a hammer and screaming Gosh Darnit (sic), kinda vain.

God is His Title which should be Revered the same as His name because there's only one real God that actually exists. The others aren't even a [Deity] but a make belief including the Adversary.

nothing more, nothing less.. I think you could have gathered that from my post. perhaps you choose not to?

I did my best to separate, and try to explain ( trying to explain what Lukewarm means to me).

but you do not believe me ( in what I understand), and this is engagement is leaving me depleted... not your fault,, totally mine for engaging with the ones that have issue with my words.

some have not...

I only ask you read carefully my words, and be fair, not making assumptions to things I have not said.
if you think I am a false proclaimer, that is fine,

you should feel sorry for me, and pray for me.

yet Suggesting people pray, as John Wesley advised, Read your Bible, and Sing unto the Lord, stay out of Egypt... .. you Are upset at this?

could this advise not work for someone, even if I was a false prophet, would this advice led someone astray?

I need to be done, I am feeling that this engagement has been a mistake... yet I will give you the last word, I ask you be fair, and do not use my words unfairly against me... yet the words I have choose, certainly you can disagree with them..
meaning I feel I am explaining things that had not needed explanation, and a smart one like yourself should have known this...there may have been enough there to address.

in peace and love, until that day with JESUS

I will drop the lo I have told you, that might have been from the self, I feel an apology may be in order for that one.... and perhaps I will try and choose my words more carefully.... I appreciate that as well...
