What's wrong with being nourishing (cold)? Usually called exhortation.

Ahh... refreshing beverage...

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19

I was told
-------
I was told to warn them about being lukewarm warm

To explain to them what that means
------------

nothing more, nothing less.. I think you could have gathered that from my post. perhaps you choose not to?

I did my best to separate, and try to explain ( trying to explain what Lukewarm means to me).

but you do not believe me ( in what I understand), and this is engagement is leaving me depleted... not your fault,, totally mine for engaging with the ones that have issue with my words.

some have not...

I only ask you read carefully my words, and be fair, not making assumptions to things I have not said.
if you think I am a false proclaimer, that is fine,

you should feel sorry for me, and pray for me.

yet Suggesting people pray, as John Wesley advised, Read your Bible, and Sing unto the Lord, stay out of Egypt... .. you Are upset at this?

could this advise not work for someone, even if I was a false prophet, would this advice led someone astray?

I need to be done, I am feeling that this engagement has been a mistake... yet I will give you the last word, I ask you be fair, and do not use my words unfairly against me... yet the words I have choose, certainly you can disagree with them..
meaning I feel I am explaining things that had not needed explanation, and a smart one like yourself should have known this...there may have been enough there to address.

in peace and love, until that day with JESUS
As a prophet you are not allowed to "choose your words carefully", you must only speak what God has commanded you.

Nothing more and nothing less and without your personal perspective.

2nd Chronicles 20:20
So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”

As a prophet it is important that we believe you since our prosperity is at stake.

You don't seem to care if people believe you or not.

If you are a prophet you should not be "suggesting" you should be boldly proclaiming.

In other words, act like a prophet instead on a dreamer of dreamers.

op: I received a word from The LORD?

Of course, all who "read The Bible" should daily (?) "receive A Word From The LORD!", eh?
But then what do we do with "The Word Of Approval" in 2 Timothy 2:15 AV and "The
Things That Differ" (online) in God's Two Different Programs? - ie: :

interesting

I appreciate your words, makes sense to me, I think solid advice.

As for the I don't seem to care if people believe or not... hmmm... I certainly cannot make anyone believe, and being exposed to too much feed back from unbelieving Christians (in my message) can be unproductive at best. (so too much caring or defending can drain me) I should have used better discretion in choosing the arguments I engaged in, another lessoned learned

I think I would care more from afar... or at least if an unbelieving Christian was up for friendly dialogue, and more on my terms (like not seemingly criticism from what should have obvious)

it is certainly encouraging to speak with peaceful Christians, and if I think someone is open to drawing closer to JESUS. I hope I would be there to encourage them.

I certainly hope, I care about this... with me being an instrument of that or not.

I hear you saying in your comment have confidence, in the words I am proclaiming... also excellent advice.

Sometimes us Christians are the hardest to move,,, (in my humble experience, as our cups (positions) seem to be full...myself included) so it usually doesn't take long to find out if a Christian is receptive or not.. unless a seed is planted, who knows such things.

I think I have learned from your comment

I like what you're saying about suggestions, and I seem to take some heat here for suggesting three hours of prayer a day. As The late John Wesley said.

so I will be bolder, I believe three hours of prayer is essential to being a strong Christian.. and this is not exclusive, we must still be avoiding the lusts of the world. & of Course In FellowShip with GOD in JESUS..

that said I do not know each Christian. Or individual Christian's strengths, or their specific Direction from GOD.

As one of the disbelievers of mine said here, it maybe more prayer needed ( than 3 hours) ( three hours was a suggested starting point where one could hopefully get further Revelation from JESUS)

I speak from my vantage point. but if one wants to defend three hours a day of tv, video games, or secular fellowship over prayer. I would say I strongly believe they do not get it, no matter how strong they think they maybe. and three hours of prayer a day, certainly may help them with understanding.

Arguing against prayer, is under the umbrella of one does not get it.. even if you do not like my delivery.

of course this comment is not directed at you.. it was general statements, you said nothing of the sort!

I think there are many Christians here that can help one another, I certainly think I will move on to other fishing holes.

this was an excellent place to test my lures (so to speak)

until that day
I will leave you all with this
It is a serious Thing to serve
THE LIVING GOD, in JESUS GREAT NAME

in love & peace

As a prophet you are not allowed to "choose your words carefully", you must only speak what God has commanded you.
Just asking, so are you a prophet?

In the OT, Abraham and Sarah both told the Abimelech, the King of Gerar, that there were brother and sister and so Abimelech sent and took Sarah. God told Abimelech that Sarah was a man's wife and if he laid with her he would be a dead man. So when Abimelech asked Abraham why he hath told him that she was his sister, (having been told by God that Abraham was a prophet) Abraham said thought the would slay him for his wife's sake.

In the NT, Jesus charges the Jews for seeking to kill him saying "But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. "

So who is telling the truth?
As a prophet it is important that we believe you since our prosperity is at stake.
Since a man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven, therefore what treasure is there in the thoughts of man, except he sows the seed that he received from above since he that layeth up treasure for himself is not rich towards God but both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. But not everyone is able to receive it.

You don't seem to care if people believe you or not.

What did Jesus say, "He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me."

Zealousness in and of itself is not necessarily a good thing. It has to be tempered with godly knowledge and understanding in order to be profitable. Sometimes being chill is appropriate.

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Romans 10:1-3
Zeal
G2205 ζῆλος zelos (zee'-los) n.
1. (properly) heat.
2. (figuratively) zeal.
3. (favorably) fervency, ardor.

Colossians 2 v 8, Romans 16 v 18, Romans 10 v 2, Proverbs 19 v 2a ~ See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. For I testify about them that they are zealous for God, but not on the basis of knowledge. Zeal is no good without knowledge.

The church in Laodicea, to whom the message was addressed, certainly would have understood it. For all else it states in verse 17 what lukewarmness means in that particular context.

So because you are lukewarm, and not hot or cold, I am about to vomit you out of my mouth because you say I am rich and am enriched, and have no need. And you do not know that you are the miserable, and the pitiable, and poor, and blind, and naked. Revelation 3:16-17
from-Revelation3-17-18.png

from Revelation 3 verse 17-18 ~ You say, ‘I need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, white garments so that you may be clothed and your shameful nakedness not exposed, and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.

not sure if I am jumping in on your conversation or not, if the question was addressed to me I might say..

Abraham was telling the truth when he said Sarah was his sister for she was his half sister, so not a lie...

As for if I am a prophet, I would say, I only feel beat down and crushed most of the time, yet I am to rejoice at my Kings feet. what ever job JESUS is preparing me for, I certainly think it could be revoked at anytime, yet I digress!

I have concluded being transformed may not be easy, especially when one resists the reshaping ( I think of being transformed out of marble, sometime it hurts yet the finish product is what is best and rewarding)

I would say I am not a prophet, I heard a man say he was a Harold not a prophet, perhaps this is a better label for me as well.

I would certainly tell you this, I am losing all interest in arguing with Christians, I am however, up for edifying conversation on both ends.

I had a teaching recently and it was powerful, hopefully I am not drifting from the transforming of the teaching, before I tell you quickly I would say this, being a Christian is being!.. if you understand my meaning,,, words are words, knowledge that is not applied is not the same as ------ becoming, being is a whole other thing... keep this in mind.. now the recent teaching.

this would be for discouraged Christians perhaps.... when your feeling beat down by the world, ( which I was, and am even a little today) remember we are destined to be a king in JESUS THE KING of all kings. so as a king in the making, as I understand ( as the child differs nothing from the servant, under guardians and tutors until the appointed time)

remember a king rises ( in JESUS), behave like your calling, overcome ( the world, lusts of the flesh/Egypt, influences of the evil one) in JESUS STRENGTH... act accordingly, as a king in the making, rise to our calling. This was encouraging to me especially when the teaching 1st hit me.

until that day............love is the cure for the curse

We all need to have humility, and this may mean turning the temperature down when sharing our opinions.
IMHO you are correct to say "of Course it is by Grace we are saved, not of works lest any man should boast",
so I caution you not to turn praying, singing and reading the Bible into a system of works.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

"Surely the Lord God does nothing, without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets". Its not to a prophet but to His prophets. I like that one..

God duh talks to us all many ways. My oldest son was looking for a job for soooo many months and I was in the kitchen getting coffee and was wondering where is he.. went for a walk and out of no where the lord said "he went to work" and he did praise GOD. For me when someone says "God told me to tell..." I fall back on "who are you, who knows you, how long have you walked in what you preach/teach".

But we do what we believe God tells us :) As for His name...yeah come on guys its not God. Those from say Iran got saved call Him Allah. Ooh just read millions in just Iran are coming to Christ....that is praise God glory to Jesus awesome! I will say if typing G_D or G-D is what you like to do .. don't change ..its Him your thinking about. Not like were talking about cross around our neck with Jesus on it. That case it would help some to not ware it when around them.. amen. But God? Not His name

So what I personally think about G-D :) telling you ... Father help me to not be luke warm ..ooh but ON FIRE!
