After screwing the working class from 2021-2024, Jerome Powell is "concerned about inflation" in 2025. What a joke. Technically, Powell is right though; it could cause inflation- lowering rates is somewhat of a gamble. If it reinflates the housing bubble lots of people are going to be pissed and Trump will take all the blame; especially if "investors" are allowed to do occupancy fraud without consequence like they were during the Biden administration. BUT a lot could theoretically go right as well. Possibly. Maybe we will find out in September. The "group" suing Jerome Powell are lawyers of James Fishback, the "Doge Dividend" guy. Winning his case will require the overturning of SCOTUS precedent, IOW, there is a low probability of success. Especially if Azoria is the only company doing this.
We will see. The SCOTUS already specified that the Federal Reserve chair is more isolated from the President's powers than these others. Personally, I think the massive inflation during the Biden Administration is more than proof of malfeasance; but I don't think it works that way in the courts.
