this a good thing.
what is not a good thing is the letting in 600,000 chinese students into the country.
it is also not a good thing that trump ordered jail time for anyone burning a american flag.
when a president can order citizens arrested for not breaking a law, that is a horrible precedent..
and, while we agree on much, i will never " trust the plan" as long as things like this are happening..
- The Chinese students is a LONG-TERM problem that has been going on for a very long time.... LOL, anticipating that once we finish up with the MAJOR Threats and Priorities to take on the DS at Large - there will be plenty of time to police up all of these ankle biters...
- The Flag Burning is a CASE where CONTEXT MATTERS... But as a Military Brat, Retiree and Civilian Marine - I have strong held understanding for freedom of speech and RESPECT for the FLAG...

FBI Director Kash Patel just released declassified FBI memos that reveal former FBI Director James Comey authorized the leaking of classified information to media outlets, to undermine President Donald Trump during the 2016 election and beyond, then declined charges all while lying to congress.
#BREAKING These documents also revealed that Sen. Adam Schiff, approved classified leaks to damage Trump's reputation during the Russiagate investigation.
The memos, unredacted and shared with Congress by Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi, stem from investigations dating back to the Trump-Russia probe.

Comey is directly implicated in authorizing leaks through intermediaries, including FBI general counsel James Baker and chief of staff James Rybicki.
One memo details how Baker gave classified information to The New York Times in October 2016, saying Comey told him to do it via Rybicki.
This leak led to an article which was published just before the election.
A separate incident involved a March 2017 New York Times story, "Comey Asks Justice Dept. to Reject Trump’s Wiretapping Claims," where Rybicki forwarded a statement from Comey to his personal email - giving authorization from Comey to leak information.
These actions were part of multiple leak investigations, such as "Tropic Vortex," "Echos Fate," and "Foggy Falls," which revealed that several news stories pushing the Russiagate narrative contained illegally leaked classified intelligence.
Despite this, the FBI declined charges.
Comey then lied to Congress during his May 2017 testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, and denied being an anonymous source for news reports on the Trump or Clinton investigations, stating flatly, "Never."

He also said he didn't' authorize anyone else at the FBI to leak and claimed he didn't know about any classified information being declassified and shared with the media.
The declassified memos contradict Comey's claims, exposing Comey's lies and the cover-up that protected the bureau.
The memos also include whistleblower allegations against Sen. Adam Schiff, portraying him as a key figure in orchestrating leaks to "indict" Trump because of the "constitutional crisis" he thought was happening after Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016,
Schiff, then the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, allegedly believed he would become CIA director under a Clinton administration, if Hillary won.
A Democratic staffer with over 20 years in intelligence, who served on the committee for 12 years, told the FBI in interviews from 2017 and 2023 that Schiff held an all-staff meeting where he directed the leaking of derogatory classified information about Trump.
The whistleblower quoted Schiff as saying the information "would be used to indict President Trump," The whistleblower said Schiff's actions were "treasonous" and unethical.
The whistleblower detailed a "system" for leaks, where classified documents were passed to Schiff, who would then distribute them.
Rep. Eric Swalwell was identified as a frequent leaker; in one case, a highly sensitive document viewed by a small group including Schiff and Swalwell appeared "almost verbatim" in the media shortly after.
The staffer was reportedly fired for refusing to take part in leaks, saying an "expectation of leaking" tied to party loyalty.

i will give you the non-citizen flag burning thing. that is correct.
while i do not want to see the military on the streets in this country, it does seem to be doing a lot of good, so i give you that one too.
but, executive orders for arrests is a bridge too far.
that can be done in a negative way by future presidents to citizens whom they don't like..

I was thinking it was something like that; in NY there are a lot of places (including your own property) where you can't burn pretty much anything. Not that I necessarily agree with it all; because I don't.
When I was stationed down in South Carolina, I went to the beach with some shipmates and we got ticketed for having glass bottles on the beach. Pretty gay. I don't even like going to the beach.... I just went because I had nothing else to do at the time. Lesson learned though.
