You divert from the point. The point being, "Scripture reveals that Jesus is the one crucified to save man's soul. And being buried with Jesus in the likeness of His death upon obedience to baptism in His name is when one's personal sin is washed away. (
Acts 22:19,
Rom. 6:3-6,
Col. 2:8-12)"
Water baptism doesn't in and of itself save, but all must be water baptized in the name of Jesus in order to be saved. Scripture further attests that everything we do in word and deed is to be done, NOT in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost BUT, in the name that is above all names; the name of Jesus!
Try having prayers answered by making the petition in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Try casting out demons saying I do so in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Try praying for healing saying I do so in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Consider what the word reveals concerning the power imparted upon evoking the name of Jesus:
Jesus said, "And I will do whatever
you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." John 14:13-14
Jesus said, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you
whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE, and your joy will be complete." John 16:23-24
Jesus said, "And these signs shall follow them that believe;
In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;" Mark 16:17
"And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord,
even the devils are subject unto us through thy name." Luke 10:7
"Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." Acts 3:6 6
"
And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all." Acts 3:16
As Jesus said all authority has been given unto HIM go therefore and baptize IN THE NAME of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. What's the NAME? The answer is crystal clear... Acts 2:4-41, 8:12-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7, 22:16
