Precious friends, after 38 years of { confusing } baptisms of: babies (rcc/reformed), regeneration (coc), and {symbolism/figuratism} baptist waters ( and about a dozen other traditional types
discovered later ), God Was Very Patient With me, and Led me To His Word Of Truth, Rightly
Divided!
And Please Be Very Richly Encouraged And Edified In Christ And In His Wonderful
Word Of Truth:

BaptismS Scriptural short Summary!:

LORD JESUS, please open our hearts to ALL of Thy Truth. Amen:

Prophecy/Covenants/Law { for earthly Israel }:
►►► The Twelve Were Sent to {water} baptize! ◄◄◄The two "Main" (of 12) baptismS =

A) water, For remission of sins!:
(Matthew 3:5-6; Mark 1:4; Luke 3:3; John 1:31; Luke 7:29-30; Acts 10:37)
(Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16; Ezekiel 36:25 AV)
+
B) "WITH" The Holy Spirit, Poured Out By CHRIST, for power, signs And wonders!
(Isaiah 44:3; Matthew 3:11; Mark 1:8, 16:17-18; Luke 24:49;
Acts 2:17-18, 38; Acts 8:15-17; Acts 11:16 AV)

Rightly Divided (2 Timothy 2:15 AV) From “Things That Differ!” (online):

...In God's Other Program of Mystery And GRACE! For The [ Heavenly ] Body Of Christ!!:
►►► Paul Was Not Sent to {water} baptize! Why Not?: ◄◄◄

Today: Only ONE Baptism = "BY" The ONE Spirit = God's OPERATION
Spiritually "Identifying" members In (The ONE Body Of) CHRIST!!
(Ephesians 4:5; Colossians 2:12; Galatians 3:27;
Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 12:13 AV)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Concluding Question: God's ONE Baptism, Under Grace Today? = ONE?

Or, as some teach, we need to "add" water baptism [ from God's Other Prophetic Program ]
thus making Two baptisms Under Mystery/Grace = bad Math (which God doesn't have),
Correct, Precious friend?

Longer/Expounded answer is here:

ONE [ Spiritual ] Baptism

Amen.

Praise His HOLY and Wonderful Name!:

Okay, so what is it vital toward?

and

What is the "should" toward?

You are sort of dodgy.
I can’t be any more succinct than this. It would be great if everyone got dunked at least once as they personally identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of our dear Lord, however if you ain't saved before getting wet it don’t mean nothing.

I lean toward communal trinitarianism myself. But belief in a Triune God is not vital to having a Father-to son/daughter relationship with God. Various trinitarian models of Yahweh were present in the early church, it is true, but so were unitarian models of Yahweh present in the early church. The fact that trinitarianism was present in the early church does not prove that it was correct or necessary, any more that the presence of unitarian models prove they were true. If my theological opinions are not producing a more loving Christlike character, they are for me merely vain philosophy pretending to be piety. Both unitarians and trinitarians can grow in Christlikeness, or not grow. So, the opinion itself is not essential.

Sorry, I should have said I lean towards a form of social trinitarianism, not communal trinitarianism.

You started at "Baptism has been a vital component of our conversion after our repentance." Post 1827

Then "If at all possible, I believe one should joyously submit to being baptized in water." Post 1838

Followed by "It would be great if everyone got dunked" Post 1845a

And finally "it don’t mean nothing" Post 1845b

You call this being "succinct"??? You must not be accustomed to people actually reading your posts.

Your inability to grasp what I have repeated said seems to be a comprehension issue on your end.

I think I see where you might find my statements as contradictory. Each statement is true, but you may see them as paradoxical, similar to these verses:

“For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

“So the last will be first, and the first last.”

“Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”

“As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything.”

If I have been baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and not in the name of Jesus only am I not saved?
I do not believe that the word "Jesus" must be verbally stated in order to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit or to receive the remission of sins. You may be confusing me with others on this forum.

I most certainly do believe that baptism is meant to be the moment we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and to obtain the remission of sins.

I personally was baptized with the following, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit".

I am not sure how this is viewed by others but I believe it is acceptable.

Oneness Pentecostals are well known for teaching that water baptism must be done "in Jesus' name" ONLY. Interesting article below:

So you believe in baptismal regeneration?

I find it difficult to respond to such arrogance.

Yes.

Do you believe in faith alone regeneration?
I believe we are saved by grace through faith and not of ourselves; it is a gift of God.
As a result that faith will show its genuine as it will manifest the good works that we have been created to do.

People should be baptised ASAP.

It's a lack of belief that causes condemnation, and not the lack of baptism.
This is clearly a red herring statement.

No one is debating the need for faith to avoid condemnation.

Here is the verse:

Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that does not believe shall be condemned.

Focusing on the what condemns and turning a blind eye to what saves is dishonest.

It is a simple and straight forward sentence.

What saves?

Belief and baptism.

What condemns?

Unbelief.

If baptism is unnecessary for salvation then it would not be mentioned so clearly in the verse.

Grammatically you are attempting to use the second clause in the sentence to negate the first clause.

This is both dishonest and willful.

I gave you a honest and straight forward yes or no answer to your question.

Again, do you believe in faith alone regeneration? Yes or No?
