So I want to edify my meal plan. Eating before 100% hungry will make you fat. Eating over 80% to get full will make you over eat.

So the meal plan is wait until fully hungry before eating again. This can be 6-8 hours. Do what the Japanese say, 8/10 is full. Which is eat until 80% full, then stop. Because the body lags behind when you eat. At 80% you really are 100%.

What I think happens, is you eat before your fully hungry. The body is taking in to many calories. Your body still has the calories you ate. But if you go ahead and eat before fully hungry, you are just adding into the fat stores.

They didn't start eating 3 meals per day until they started having to work at the factories. All that manual labor caused them to use up more energy than before. This makes them fully hungry sooner because they are using up the energy they have. They needed more meals per day for this reason.

To properly regulate your eating and calories, you wait until fully hungry. Which can be different for everyone because of the work they do. And not to over eat, stop at 80%.

I will be doing this thing. Right now it looks like 6.5 hours after my last meal. Hungry but I think I am not fully hungry yet.

People didn't use to eat according to a schedule. They ate when they got hungry enough. The factory owners made people start doing things by a schedule. Which is new, not old.

Maybe research on insulin resistance? If you can get your insulin levels down and maintain them lower, calories out will go way up, and then you don't have to watch so much what you eat? (Not medical advice, but something I'm starting to look into).

guy is 400 lbs, probably diabetic and highly insulin resistant. Like I keep saying, write down everything you eat and track the calories and macros. that's the only thing that works, by seeing everything in your face, it rewires the reward system in your brain in the context of a goal.

I just found this new book today.

978-1778834301
Trick yourself into losing weight.

It was quick read I am already done with it. Probably the best book on weight management I have ever seen. It is also comical in some places.

The book is for those who are over weight already, not those who are at their ideal weight.
It's not a diet plan.

$3.00 kindle version on amazon.

So this is my new weight loss tactic, which is based on what the book said.

I am 400 pounds. The book said 12 calories per pound of body weight needed to maintain that weight. I cross referenced this with google, but google said 13-15 calories is a good starting point. So I will go by the book at 12 calories.

That puts this at 400 * 12 = 4800 calories per day.
The book said to make small changes and keep it for while, and then resting on it.
Changes as small as the book explains, might take me more than 20 years. So I am going to try move faster.

So this is my plan. 300pounds * 12calories = 3600 calories per day.
3600 calories per day is a huge number of calories, this should be easy for me to do.
So my target eating weight is 300 pounds, and I am 400 pounds. 3600/4= 900 calories per meal over 4 meals. That is luxury eating right there.

Because I am not trying to eat like a 150 pound person, which would make it 1800 calories, I think I can do this. I will not crash and get bigger. According to the book I tried to take off too much at one time, and didn't put any rest into it. The rest might be important settling down the flesh. Because the flesh is going to fight against me to put all the fat back, + MOOORE. That is what I been doing wrong, eating like 150 pound person which ended up making me go into 2700 calories per day. Which defeated me and made me depressed and angry. And I didn't know I was winning the whole time.

I feel great right now on 3300 calories. The day has ended I am going to bed now.

4800-3600 = 1200 calories per day. 1200 * 30days = 36000 calories per month. That's about 10 pounds per month. We will see if it's true. I get on the scale on the 5th and see what's it started at. Plus I purchased a 550 pound scale yesturday. Waiting for delivery.

how do you plan on tracking calories? Not all calories are the same, a tiny spoon of oil is 100 calories and so is like an entire large bowl of vegetables.

@jacko All the packages have the calories written. If there is anything I don't know I can search for it, google has been good resource on it. Measuring the food is easy.

Keto seems like a great diet once you learn the science behind it.

I lost 70 pounds in a year.

275 to 205. Just in time for a friend’s wedding.

It’s most like a lifestyle change though and kinda challenging to manage but is possible.

the easiest way is to keep a journal, since you are already tracking calories. But yes, tracking intake is the key... calories in vs calories out. Thermogenics.

Today I stepped on the scale to see what the weight has started at. Because I read the book just this past week.
406.75 pounds. I knew I had gained but didn't know how much.

I not only will be doing this program with the book, but also the Doctor gave me Ozempic. I have some samples here with me. I plan on taking the first dose tomorrow morning.

He said all the Ozempic does is supress the apetite. If it works well enough, I might be able to target a 200 pound person calorie. Better
make the small changes to it I think, like the book said my body is going to fight against me about it. I have to make small changes and get my body adjusted to it.

Waiting for that scale, and I see the doctor again in 2 weeks. So another weight test then.
According to my calorie tracking I have been losing little over 1 pound per 2 days. So I should see something like 7 pound difference.

Must keep in mind water weight from things like salt.

Just to make my progress report complete, I already took the first dose just now. These are 1 week injections.

@jacko Here this coming Monday I will find out if anything has changed. I had ordred a scale but it didn't get shipped until 2 weeks later. Now, It's been 1 week at origin.

My scale arrived!

I lost 5-6 pounds. This was right on with my calories counted for the last two weeks. Something is working. On average I have been 1,500 calories below the maintenance weight of 406 pounds. It has been 14 days taking the Ozempic. I took another dose today and I will see the doctor on Monday. He will probably increase the dose of the Ozempic.

The Ozempic has come at a coincidence of the life style change, but I have been taking it anyway. Not sure it's getting credit here, but google searches show from other people that it works for them, when combined with life style changes.

Right now I take the sample, but I will be finding out how much it's going to cost me.

So with the ozempic I found it lots of the weight was water weight.
I stopped the ozempic just to see how my progress goes without it. I am counting the calories and it looks well with me. The hunger increased little bit more without the ozempic. Water has returned but the weight is still down.
Looking to see how this works out because I cannot buy the Ozempic.
Today's scale shows 398.5 pounds. It's still down from 406 pounds. But up from 307.1 pounds.
I do take the berberine to counter the hunger side effect of my medicine.

Success without ozempic. The hunger went down after about 1 week. Today had a sudden drop in weight, down to 393.7 pounds from 397.9 pounds. I can feel the difference too, even though it looks small its huge difference.

I believe God has answered prayers from the Christians here on CC. What happened is I learned what I learned from the book. With that Wisdom and knowledge right there, I believe I will be able to finally be released from the fat. It could take more than 1 year, but I will feel the difference as time goes.

Also, I stopped the berberine too.

Let me share some things I have learned so far about fat.

1: Stay away from cake. There is 1,200 kcalories per slice!
2: Stay away from cookies. Just a very small number of them is the same as a slice of cake.
3: You can have your candy bars and things, but make certain to know the calories in it.
4: You have to count the calories when your fat, you have to find out why your fat, you need that diary.

I was buying 12 packs of soda for the purpose of saving on the cost of them. It will cost me about $0.50 per can versus $2.69 for a 20oz. I was spending more money and consuming over 1,200 kcalories per day on soda by doing that. The entire 12 pack gone in one day, one can after another. And it's the same with the 2-liter. When you spend more for the single serving your saving more, lots more on calories.

The doctors claim that when you fast, the first thing your body consumes is your muscle. That your muscles will be consumed away. IF that was true then everyone on the face of the earth would have become immobile and died. Your body is not going to eat up your muscles. The only time your body is going to use up all your muscles and other flesh, is when your starving to death. This is not the same as fastening. When you fast there is muscle loss, but these cells that are removed are the cells that have become damaged and bad. Your body then puts them back. And it's more than just your muscle.

These ideas about fastening being bad has been conjured up by people who refuse to fast. They do not want people to fast, because they do not want to do it.

I was curious if isreal had a problem with fat. I was hoping to find out it was not, so I could learn what their diet was. 62% of isreal is fat. And I then looked up the christian. Christians are fat, while those who are not christian are lean. The christian enemies are lean, but the people with God are fat.

We need everyone to pray to break these curses put on us. The witches have turned us into fat pigs.

I'm not fat. I fast. We need to learn to fast. Water fast won't kill you . Jesus as us when the bride groom leaves that will fast. It cleansus your dead tissue too. Helps a lot of bad illnesses in your later life. Google the benefits of fasting. It's a proven fact. Gluttony is a sin. We must control are selves

I had quit with splenda for about 3 days. Then, I noticed a change in hunger. I looked this thing up and found out that splenda tricks your brain into making you hungry. When your body consumes something sweet like splenda but get no calories from it, your brain then makes you eat.

I had been struggling with water retention from the last time I posted here. My weight had been stuck at 400 pounds. Then today, about 4 days after stopping splenda, my weight was down to 385.9 pounds. I looked this thing up, it says splenda does not cause water retention!

The weight had been stuck at 400+ pounds. I don't know if the ramen noodles is the blame.
I started ozempic again today, because my doctor told me the fat was much higher risk than ozempic. With ozempic showing that only the rats had the cancer, not humans. Also, I learned that ozempic does more than just stop hunger. It stops sugar. The medicine I take messes up sugar metabolism which is believed one reason mentally ill get fat and diabetes. It would make sense because my calorie counting is not working, although it should be losing fat really fast, I am not.

My doctor also told me that the government two days ago approved medicaid and medicare to buy the ozempic for people, before they didn't. They just passed it 2 days ago that they will buy it for people. I think this is because of the money saved on health costs from the fat.

So next week I see my primary care doctor again, and will try get the ozempic prescription again.

So ozempic will work for me, because it stops the sugar, stops the liver from producing sugar and causes insulin production. The medicine stops insulin production and the liver keeps making sugar.

It worked the first two weeks and lost 6 pounds so I shall see.
But yeah it makes no sense the weight is stuck at 400 pounds with the calories I consume.
