I was curious if isreal had a problem with fat. I was hoping to find out it was not, so I could learn what their diet was. 62% of isreal is fat. And I then looked up the christian. Christians are fat, while those who are not christian are lean. The christian enemies are lean, but the people with God are fat.

We need everyone to pray to break these curses put on us. The witches have turned us into fat pigs.

In 1 Timothy 4:8 it says that physical training has some value. Exercise can have benefits, making you more healthy physically, it can help you mentally too, lightening your mood and getting out into the beauty of God's creation. IMHO Christians should be encouraged more to get out and exercise. Rather than coffee and doughnuts, what about a walk? God Bless All :)

I've been chronically underweight. Witches don't turn anyone into being pigs or, to use a better term, overweight. One's weight is based of many factors such as genetics, diet, physically activeness, age, metabolism, etc. Don't know where you are getting your information from that would lead to your assumptions. In regards to the request for prayer for this cause I'm going to decline.

Israel surprises me, since they use fresh ingredients. I wonder if obesity rates are going to soar because people are sitting more and looking at screens, and that is the actual culprit.

I was looking at Asian cultures. I think meat is the bigger problem, not just being sedentary. In 1980's and before, China was fit and lean. After 1980's they started getting fat, and then fatter. What key thing that changed was meat. They started consuming more meat, than rice. Before, Rice is what they ate as we know.

Japanese, the Japanese have rice and seaweed at the top of their food pyramid. Next come fish, but things like beef and farm animals, is low consumption. Now the Japanese I learned, walk about 6K steps per day on average. This is because they walk to work. Or, walk to the subway for work.

That's why I think, food like farm animals is the fault. Now when people hunt, they walk and walk, so they use up lots of calories. But those who farm and busy walking around taking care of the farm. They have to clean everything and feed all the animals. All day job. But, they are fat. And I think this is because, they have so much meat for them-self to eat.

Not just calories will add fat to your body. Even if your not adding too many calories, if you eat something in excess, say, protein, it will store it.

The thing with rice, is this food here is most of it used by your body for energy. There really not to many calories in basmati rice, at least not in a single serving. And it's low on glycemic index. I am going to try eating it with mushrooms, to try and see if it will hold my hunger. And, if it don't, I think 4 oz of meat, is toooooo much.

Brasspen,

I can't help notice that this is a running theme in all your posts and threads. Everything you're struggling with is because someone else put a hex on you or because someone else stole something from you.

Now I'm certainly not saying that curses aren't real, but they don't make us helpless either.

Your post reminds me of a story of a woman who came up to the leaders at a faith healing conference (which was big on casting out demons,) and passionately said, "Brothers, I need for you to pray this Demon of FAT out of me!"

The two men thought for a moment, looked at each other, and said to her, "Sister, this kind can only come out by prayer -- and FASTING." (A reference to Matthew 17:21 in which Jesus tells the disciples they failed to cast out a demon from a young boy because "this type only come out by prayer and fasting" -- though many versions have shortened it to just "prayer.")

Yes, God has the power and He enables us, but we have to make good choices and do our part. God doesn't do everything instantaneously for us.

Your post reminds me of a co-worker I once had and we both struggled with a certain hormonal imbalance disorder. One of the number one symptoms of this is obesity. But, it's not completely uncontrollable either.

This woman told me she was surprised I wasn't morbidly obese, whereas she was scheduled for a gastric bypass to lose weight. But I think the difference in our lunches told the tale. She was eating a fast food meal from Arby's and a sugar soda. I was eating woven wheat crackers, one small scoop of peanut butter, carrots, and celery, and drinking a bottle of water. She also talked about going out to eat and drinking a lot of tequila every weekend with her husband. My usual drinks are coffee, tea, and water. I make plain, simple food at home and don't eat out.

I just got off the treadmill before writing this post. I'm not perfect by any means. I have that last 10 pounds to lose like almost everyone else. But I can still fit into a dress I've had for at least 15 years, and I work hard to maintain that.

Our choices matter.

What does your diet, exercise, and lifestyle look like? If you're already living an extremely healthy lifestyle, I'm sorry to hear it's not working out the way you want it too. I have friends who eat like birds and they still have weight problems too, so I know it's not a perfect formula.

But what is your regular, daily routine? How often do you exercise? What do you eat in a normal day?

If you're not already making healthy choices, all the prayer and breaking off curses in the world isn't going to matter.

@seoulsearch Ok so my diet is up and down all the time. I have this serous problem with addiction to things like chocolate, Chocolate milk or candy bar's. I try to avoid them, but, I then crash because I can't stay away from it. Probably my worst problem.

Now I stay busy during the day, but depression makes me get lazy sometimes. Right now my mood has been great and I have been moving around lots. I am busy working on my crafts at moment. This is spinning yarn and weaving. I just finished making a single, need make another single of yarn to go with it, then ply them. I need two of these 21 yard skeins for a weaving project. I am learning American Indian finger weaving from a book I got on amazon. Took 1 hour 1 minute for this 25 gram single. So the hobby is keeping me busy.

I am trying to do the NEAT routine I just learned about. Plus, NEAT plus some weight training. I just started trying to eat what Japanese people eat, which is mostly rice. And I have little bit of fish left over, but I want to get some baby bella mushrooms and try this as meat substitute tonight.

I can definitely sympathize with you. I have often said that sugar is the bane of my existence. I try to keep track of how much I'm consuming of it every day because once I start, it's hard to cut it off. I've tried eating all fruit instead but with little success. I understand how it goes and I will pray for you!

Thank you for sharing. Your spinning and weaving hobby sounds amazing! I used to do a lot of yarn crafts when I was younger. If you'd like to, maybe you could share some pictures of your work? And you are definitely right -- hobbies help keep us busy -- and away from food.

I also understand that eating healthy is hard -- and expensive. I'd love to eat baby bella mushrooms every day or fresh mushrooms in general, but they're too expensive, so I often have canned (which are still expensive.)

It sounds like you're taking some great steps in the right direction. I'll pray for you, especially over the chocolate addiction because I know very well what that's like.

Blessings to you and please keep us posted on your progress. :)

Thank you for taking the time to reply!

The witches have turned us into fat pigs.
I'm not fat, does that make me a heathen? America didn't have a weight problem until the govmint steered us away from meats and fats and had us eating more carbs than previously. Today you need only look around to see the results of that. Whatever the govmint says, do the the opposite...

Oh no, not saying you are non-believer if you not fat. I look in church and see lean christians. Concerning this thing with the government, we need make righteous judgement about what they try and do with us.

So, like, it's been 4 hours later. I did have a beef jerky when I was buying mushrooms, a large salvage slim jim. I love those. I made the rice and put two slices of cheese, 4 bella mushrooms in it. I have been content with hunger, I am little bit hungry but it's not that bad right now.

What I have discovered so far, is the basmati rice with baby bella mushrooms is holding the hunger off longer than meat. After I eat meat I am hungry again after 3 hours.

I looked this up, but couldn't find it, here is my hypothesis about carbs and keto. In keto, when cut out all carbs to get your body into ketosis. This causes your body to use the meat for fuel, rather than sugar. This then causes you to use up fat.

But my hypothesis, is, in sugar mode, your body uses up the basmati rice, and you can get the same fat burn as in keto. Just don't add too much meat. It works the same way keto does, only your in sugar mode. So when you are in sugar mode, your body is running on sugar. It then takes the meat and creates fat. But if you cut out the meat, or at least keep in low enough, you will use up fat instead. It will use up the fat because you have too much of it, it regulates it. I don't think you will become anorexic either, even though the calories might not be there.

So what's wrong with fat people. Carbs + Protein. Or in reverse bios, Protein + Carbs. You are either in sugar mode, or keto mode.

However, this does not mean you can eat high spike glycemic foods. Like refined flour or the wrong type of rice.

Brasspen,

Have you ever been medically evaluated for diabetes or insulin resistance? This can have a big effect on how your body processes different kinds of foods.

I have some friends who feel their best on mostly protein, while others who feel best with mostly carbs. I've also known some people who get sick on certain food groups, even when allergy tests haven't found anything. It's definitely a process to learn what works for your individual metabolism.

Many years ago, I was diagnosed with insulin resistance and the adjustments I've made haven't made it any easier to lose weight (I have to be very careful with what I eat and keep my exercise consistent,) but it's made it a little easier to at least maintain a healthier weight range.

Please forgive me if you already know these things too, but I know I'm much more vulnerable to overeating if I don't get enough sleep, don't drink enough water (dehydration,) and have too much caffeine (it makes me want to snack all the time.) I've found that getting these 3 things in better control has helped a lot.

I hope you find what works for you and I will keep you in my prayers!

Please keep us posted on how you're doing. :)

Great job in putting in the work of making healthier choices!

If you want to be serious about losing weight and or fat. Track what you eat, calories and your macros. Quite simply it just works.
