Hey Everyone,
This thread is inspired by a nice, fresh piece of bubble wrap that was included in a package I got last week.
I remember when bubble wrap first became popular, and hardly ANYONE could resist popping all those plastic air bubbles!! I remember getting things at work wrapped in bubble packaging, and we would each take a piece to smoosh and pop to our heart's delight.
These days, it seems harder to come by (but I don't order much online, so maybe I'm just behind the times.) And if it's a really nice, high quality piece of bubble wrap, I save it for when I mail out my own packages (it seems to be shockingly expensive, which is probably why I don't see much of it in my packages these days.)
However...
The piece in my box this time was quite small and just the right amount of raggedy that I couldn't justify saving it... And the bubbles were the PERFECT size for popping -- each bubble was about the size of an American quarter.
So, don't you know, like the childish fiend I am, I POPPED EVERY. SINGLE. BUBBLE on that little piece of bubble wrap... AND I WAS CACKLING WITH GLEEFUL ABANDAN as I pulverized every last one!!
Forget killing yourself at the gym, 6 hours of meditation, expensive spa treatments -- BUBBLE WRAP is the ULTIMATE in stress management!!!
What about you?
If you got a nice, fluffy piece of bubble wrap in the mail:

What Would YOU Do??!!!
Just for fun, I'm going to include a poll with multiple answers that everyone can see (after all, I need to find my fellow bubble-popping fiends, er, I mean, FRIENDS, out there!!)
After you've answered the poll, come back and tell us:
* What fond -- or fiendish -- memories do you have of bubble wrap?
* Do your kids like popping it as much as you do? (Do they fight over who gets it if it comes in the mail?)
* What size bubble wrap is best for popping? (I have encounters a few kinds with bubbles so small and strong that they were nearly impossible to pop -which took the air out of any fun to be had with them.)
Remember that the poll only allows a limited number of answers -- I do the best I can with what I'm given to work with. I know I can't include every answer so this is where it's important for YOU to come back -- and tell us the rest of your story!
Sadly, the little piece of bubble wrap I had did NOT survive my clutches (MUHAHAHA!!) -- and now I'm wondering if it would have survived YOU!
