John the Baptist knew when Jesus would arrive. Not the day or hour, but certainly the year or time of year. Those who had believing hearts towards scripture knew the time was close because of Daniel's 70-week prophecy, and they were expecting the messiah to appear.

I don't think it will be any different at the end of the age of the nations, and those who have ears to hear will know. God saves the best for last.

This video seems to say the year 6,000 is next year. worrying!

Jesus won't return to rapture us out next year because some other things must happen first.

Actually the rapture won't happen until after the great tribulation, at the last trumpet.

I am also wondering why the thought that the rapture might be next year is worrying to you?

That man was on another forum years ago. At that time he was saying the second coming would be in 2026, so the two witnesses would appear in 2023.

I agree in principal with the 6000 year theory. But I don't think we can get an accurate resolution with the count. If it were true, the second coming would be in 2030, as Christ was on the cross 2 1000 year days ago on Friday April 7, 30AD.

I think the second coming is before 2030.

There was a new video of that guy from South Africa saying the Rapture would be on the feast of trumpets this year. After watching it, I tend to be leaning toward your side now. He started talking all sorts of strange doctrine. Like demons eating the people left behind. Stuff I never heard of. He started sounding suspicious. Like he was making things up for attention.

He did say he will do a 24 hour live stream on that day. It might be fun, of boring to watch.

I understand what people are trying to say. When Jesus entered Jerusalem, he seemed to say that Israel knew He would come that very day and they intentionally missed an "Appointed Hour" to receive the Massiah. Many things have happened on Old Testament Holy Days and Feast days. I think people are off when it comes to 6000 years, Noahs flood was about 6000 years ago. There was a Magnetic Pole reversal and mass extinction that happens every 6000 years. Based on the Movement of the Magnetic North and South and the weakening of the Magnetosphere the poles should move very soon. The Earth will stop spinning and flip over 90 degrees. The Tsunamis will scour everything. It will mean a Mass extinction. Governments know this, rich people do too.

Yeah, that IS strange. I was watching other people who posted their own confirmation videos. I can't blame any of them for wanting to get out of this world because of the increase in wickedness and the love of most growing cold, etc. One of them actually made me cry because she was such a sweet old lady.

It's going to be tough for them when those dates arrive and we're all still here the day after. I think God wanted me to watch these videos, not to mock at them when the rapture doesn't happen, but (1) to pray comfort for their sadness and disappointment and (2) to pray against the possibility of them giving up on Jesus and falling away, (3) to pray for their strengthening to move past this and have a fresh resolve to pay more attention to what God actually says in the Bible and stick to that over any dream and visions anyone else has about the rapture.

I might take a look near the last few hours the live stream. I know nothing will happen in the hours before that. Well maybe I'll take a look in the first few hours too to see how hopeful he and everyone else will be. I know it will be the opposite in the last few hours.... 😬

I would recommend you doing a time study starting at creation--opens a lot of doors.

FYI--Flood was in year 1656 from creation

Remember there were only 77 generations between Adam and Christ

Yes they were looking for a Messiah. And to me the scriptures told them if they were wise

7 weeks or 49 years

Pharisees said it has taken us 46 years to build the temple, add 3 years to that for the Lord's ministry we have our 49 years

Do you guys believe he will return in the year 6,000?

He returned after death as risen to the disciples and more than 500 others saw Jesus as risen after the death took place. Jesus and Father will return again. said, he was going to prepare a mansion for those disciples, and I think and see it is for everyone that chooses to believe God Father in risen Son for them Col 1:21-23, yet read from verse 1 and the rest of that epistle please to keep it whole, thank you
God can be seen in the love and mercy given us each, once read it wholly and not use verses to get others to believe as others believe
Read the Ephesians as a whole Epistle, trust Father to reveal truth to you in love for you too, thank you
Love of God is true, otherwise the perfect Son Jesus would not have ever gone to that cross willingly you think? He did not need redemption, Jesus was/is perfect one with Father, married the mystery of marriage revealed through him as risen for us all to stand in and not quit, at least I see this after not quitting going through adversities as well as everyone else too

Be ready in season and out of season, ready to answer why Joy (Jesus over you) remains working through you. I see Paul in jail rejoiced in spite of being there. Amazing, to see things from the view of Father in risen son given us each in belief to see and be content in all things good or bad.
I will glory in both, those that are sincere snd those not sincere, why?
The risen Jesus is being preached, even those not preaching he is risen his name to see truth is still out and about. No, divided kingdom can ever contain ue to stand. Thank you Father, Daddy, PaPa, for risen Son that won for us to stand in Col 1:21-23

Exactly. Until you see two witnesses in Jerusalem, all talk about a rapture occuring is just false predictions and deception

Distractions from walking in love and mercy to all given me at least
Those that are born again by God to them, know the amazing grace given them and abide in this. So, evil goes to any distraction it can use to you, for one, anyone to not love in Father's reality (Spirit and Truth) trying to stop the next person, that will decide to believe God too
Evil can't do a thing about it, once one, anyone sees this truth, that Father reveals, evil lost and it is the Love that overcame and overcomes evil always

The Lord came for one of His martyrs today,
in an hour when it was least expected.

has a new Job in Heaven and willingly doing it in blessed peace
The Apostle Paul, in Philippians 1:23-24, describes being "hard-pressed between the two" desires: a desire to "depart and be with Christ," which he acknowledges is "better by far," and a necessity to "remain in the body" for the progress and joy of the Philippian believers in their faith. His decision to "stay" was for the spiritual benefit of the church, allowing him to continue his ministry and serve God by preaching, establishing churches, and encouraging believers.

Philippians 1:23-24

Authorized (King James) Version

23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24 nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

Kirks time is up. My Eldest brothers time is up, my Mother's time up, my earth dad time is up, my youngest sister's time is up
So many more, that Father loves and knows when it is time as when is best fro each of us. Time to go home, when the day comes is a glory hallelujah, as I see all that believe God in risen Son, wait in anticipation.
I see Paul writing about it in Romans 8 about being in our first born flesh to reckon as dead as oil Romans 6:12 as well
Even in Ecclesiastes 12, I think is where Solomon wrote cry at a birth, rejoice at a death
The idea of weeping at a birth and rejoicing at a death is suggested in Ecclesiastes 7:2, which says a "good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of birth". However, this is balanced by other verses, such as John 16:20, where Jesus explains that the disciples' sorrow over His death will turn into joy, and Ecclesiastes 3:4, which states there is "a time to laugh and a time to weep".

A Time for Both Joy and Sorrow
  • Ecclesiastes 7:1-2
suggests that the day of death can be more significant than the day of birth, a "good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death than the day of birth".This perspective implies that one should reflect on the end of a person's life and the wisdom gained, rather than only on the beginning of a life's journey.

  • John 16:20-22
uses the analogy of a woman giving birth to explain the disciples' grief. Jesus says, "You will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy". The joy at the birth of the baby is comparable to the joy the disciples would feel after Jesus' resurrection.

  • Ecclesiastes 3:4
offers a balanced view, stating that there is "a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance". This indicates that both birth and death are part of God's timing and that different emotions are appropriate at different times.
Context and Conclusion
  • The teachings of the Bible suggest that a balance of joy and sorrow is appropriate for both birth and death. While a death can be a moment of rejoicing for a soul's transition to heaven, such as for a faithful Christian according to Philippians 1:23, it also causes sorrow for those left behind.

  • Conversely, while birth is a time for joy, the pain of childbirth is compared to the grief the disciples experience, which eventually gives way to joy.

  • Were any of you taught to rejoice at a death? - Facebook
Mar 2, 2022 — Ecclesiastes 7:1 -2, “A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of birth. ... Tak...

Next: to go home, are the Angels of God rejoicing, I bet yes, so am I for the next Soul to make it home on God's merits not self merits

Okay, so here's the scoop. No one knows the day or hour that Christ will return but The Lord has given us signs to watch for. When Satan appears as Antichrist claiming to be God, II Thes 2:3-4, God's two witnesses, probably Moses and Elijah, will stand against him to expose him as an imposter. When they end their testimony Satan will overcome them and kill them and lie their dead bodies in the street of that great city, (Jerusalem). They will lay in the street 3 1/2 days and then the spirit of life from God will enter them and they will come back to life. In the same hour there will be a great earthquake and the Lord will return from heaven as the 7th trump is sounding, Rev 11:3-15

So the main point is that Satan must come first, before Jesus, pretending to be him and that God's two witnesses will testify against him.
When you see Satan slay the two witnesses and lay them in the street, you will know that Christ will return in 3 1/2 days. That is the sign that you should be watching for.

Do you guys believe he will return in the year 6,000?

If Jesus did not receive that while on the Earth, why would some special Revelation be given to a guy claiming dates.
What's his face did that recently.
Who was that Blood Moons preacher who said that Jesus never claimed to be the Messiah and the Jews get a pass?
Now I remember. ..hagee, John Hagee. He set a date based on Jewish holidays, Sabbath and moon cycles if I remember.

Someone handed me a stack of books. The tribulation starts next year, he said. That was over 15 years ago. He couldn't sell them or give them away at a big conference. I read one of them and could see some serious holes in his argument. I wish it were true. We'd have paradise on earth by now.

There's been the 7th Day Adventist Branch Davidians and who claimed the Lord's return was going to happen then..., when was that, 1980s?
I feel sorry for those who suffered that atrocity.
I believe they were targeted by the deep state because their beliefs were so weird that most Christians went along with their operation.

"88 Reasons why the Lord Will return in 1988" goes for 50¢ at the used book sales.

Around the turn of the millennium there were so many false prophecies that I can't remember. Ever since then there have been preachers claiming to have a direct line of verbal conversations with God who told them when His Son would return.
They claim to have experienced a qualification from a miracle or answered prayer, or large megachurch following.
Apparently they have special conversations with someone who is pulling their leg. None of us has seen the Lord's second advent. Like a gambling addiction, let's be real positive about this next one!😃

The Seventh Day Adventist made this their major selling point before they were called that.
Their founder, William Miller used the Day-Year principle and his interpretation of Daniel's prophecies to pick 1844 as the Lord's return.
It went down in history as "THE GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT."

How many more Great Disappointments do preachers want to be accountable for?
