40% of China Without Work: Economic Collapse Triggers Poverty, Exodus, Urban Decay, and Homeless.

They won't eliminate the deficit with this plan. They will be able to keep financing a defict. However, if we go to a gold backed security then you have to look at the amount of gold in central banks and compare that to the amount of currency being used. Rickards did that to come up with $30,000 an ounce. If we reprice gold at that amount it won't pay off the debt but it will make the US balance sheet look much, much better. However, we are talking about a catastrophic collapse in buying power for Americans. They will not be pleased to say the least.

That is not the intention, obviously there was higher hopes for Doge that it would find more things that could be cut. However, that is not the case to cut the deficit we have 3 options.

1. Cut spending so that it is line with revenue.
2. Raise revenue to match what we are spending.
3. Both raise revenue as well as cut some spending in the budget.

"Obviously"? Not to me. What was obvious to me is that a guy who is making AI and robots to replace workers was offering his services free of charge to see how he could get his foot in the door at replacing Federal workers with AI and robots.

Sure it sounds good and I'm sure a lot of good was done and waste was cut out, but the goal was not to balance the budget, the idea was never plausible. Yes, Trump is tightening the belt and if you look at it in isolation it looks like Trump is trying to balance the budget. But you are ignoring the money being funneled to the war effort. He is cutting these programs to have more money for our war effort. We are moving towards WW3 step by step and the US debt has continued to increase unabated since Trump took office. DOGE resulted in a lot of people being fired and a lot of programs being cut, but it has not resulted in our stopping our debt from increasing.

Finally the impact from layoffs is being honestly addressed and they are now admitting the US has been in a recession since Biden was in office. It will get worse and worse with AI and robots taking jobs, Trump knows that.

People will protest and riot when the proverbial SHTF, Trump knows that and so he has prepositioned the National guard in these cities to where they can be be moved anywhere in the country in a matter of hours.

When they reset the price of gold relative to the US dollar that will be great for people holding gold (physically) and terrible for people who have US dollars in their bank account. The day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. You will wake up and your bank account will be empty. Most don't know this but the law concerning bank accounts has been changed, that money is not yours, it is considered to be a financial investment in the bank so that if the bank goes bankrupt they can simply seize that money to pay off their debts.

We have already been there and tried that. The reason we don't have gold backing us today is there is not enough gold available. Even if we revalue it at 30k an ounce. A year or two of building new products, new construction, new services, and etc and there will be a shortage of gold to back all of it.

It just doesn't make sense to tie us to gold and that be our medium of exchange when we already know that will lead to our money being what is rare. Our money becoming worth more than goods and services. The biggest hit will be to labor as it's worth will be devalued each year.

I believe we would also have to do like FDR and first confiscate all of the gold out there before we can revalue it. To do otherwise would create a political nightmare. There is no way the American people are going to sit by idle and not have a fit when with the stroke of a pen those they already see as the wealthiest now have become even wealthier from legislation.

So I find unless they confiscate it all and then revalue it it is going to be a political minefield. So the best they can is either revalue it at market price or they will have to confiscate it in order for it to be fair and acceptable.

Which I think it would also be funny to hear that plan sold. Hey everyone we are going to confiscate your gold and pay you out at current market prices. Then turn around and revalue it higher and make it accessible to be bought...........LOL

I find the advantage of our money being backed as it will offer stability. However, we also have to back it something that can rise as well as far as the amount of it.

I am not a crypto person myself but at present it does solve the limited amount as well as also it's amount going up. That seems to be the way that folks in the market are leaning as well since folks have priced and valued it higher than gold.

I find the irony is most of the jobs are service type jobs. Which under Obama when it was threatened that labor was going away they preached get a service job. Learn how to code. Now it is service jobs that are most threatened and we find that the biggest uptick of new jobs is labor. As the most jobs so far added is construction building the new plants. Which afterwards the next uptick will be labor again as they fill those jobs. So I find it ironic.

With every new invention we have had jobs lost as well as we have also had new jobs created from the new invention and tech. I suspect that we will be able to do so again.

You seem to be hunting the solution having given a lot of thought to metals, etc.

It's obvious there is a lot of work going on with crypto, including the stablecoins concept.

Why are you not a "crypto person"? Doesn't it make sense in this era that currency is just digital vs. paper, cheep metals, plastic?

Because I honestly don't understand everything about it is why. I just don't like to endorse or push something until I can make sense of it to the point I can explain it. So that is why I at this point am not a crypto person only because I don't understand it enough.

It doesn't make sense because you are not considering the catastrophe that is about to hit us. The US dollar will be worthless. The world will be grasping for a lifeboat and the only thing that people will trust will be gold.

Yes, with every new invention we have lost jobs. The tractor replaced oxen. The car replaced horses. There were no new jobs created for oxen and horses. The only jobs for horses is to entertain the rich, and the only jobs for oxen is to make hamburgers. Ai and Robots will do to humans what the industrial revolution did to horses and oxen.

Thanks. I meant to cc: @ZNP also.

Understood. It seems like chaos at this juncture with new ones entering the system constantly. My sense is that anyone not learning about it and keeping up to some degree, just like with AI, will be left behind in whatever sense at some point. How fair any transitions are going to be is likely best guessed from past history.

One reason that robots are so key to this is that they provide a whole new data stream to Ai, if they have millions of robots feeding data 24 hours a day it will be greater than all the data they have gotten from the internet.

At that point the only way to get into the Beast system economy is to take the neuralink brain chip which will make you a drone of Ai and incapable of being saved.

86 Million Accounts FROZEN Overnight — The Palantir Cashless Police State Is Here | Redacted News

Review of what has taken place over the last two years with the world's move to a digital currency.

Vietnam froze 86 million bank accounts, what we are seeing is a worldwide move towards this digital currency.

This is the undeniable proof that the US dollar is collapsing.

Over the last two years silver and gold are both up 90%. These are two standards for value. Their going up in price relative to the US dollar does not mean they have become more valuable but rather the US dollar is worth half of what it was two years ago. That means you bank account, your house, whatever, has been cut in half in the last two years.

Gold and silver are two things that have been constant measure of value for all of human history.

This is the undeniable proof that the US dollar is collapsing.
