There is no mention of "ceremonial law" in the Old or New Testament, except in reference to the

Can we identify the beast? What we do know about the beast is that some time in the past he was here. But the beast is not here now. Yet at some time in the future he will arrive.

It was there in John's day promoting pagan things, and the papacy combined Christianity with the pagan practices. This church was lead by A MAN, that claims to be God. It seemed to received a deadly wound that did not kill it but caused it to change tactics. It is very powerful today.

The 10 commandments are not the the perfect law of freedom. The spirit of that law, the 10, is written in our hearts, not the letters of it. Peter said the law was an unbearable yoke that neither they nor their fathers were able to bear. Jesus said the yoke of his law is easy.
