In the US, the Bill of Rights is a document outlining what the government is required to do for citizens - "we the people."

In my opinion, this doesn't rule out self-defense as a possible response, but this takes wisdom. At what point is abuse of government power and societal oppression tantamount to threatening someone's life?

Yes.

And now the Trump administration is taking the same position on Ukraine as Joe Biden; so we're going to be funneling money into Ukraine indefinitely. What are "Trump savings accounts" besides another free-money scheme?
