Ponder the parallel...

Natural birth:
Baby turns prior to exiting the water of the womb, and receives life sustaining breath.

Spiritual rebirth:
Believer turns in repentance prior to exiting the water of baptism, and receives life sustaining Holy Spirit.

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made..." Romans 1:16-20

Spiritual birth...child of God is created and made alive through no action on his part?

While I do see the parallel you are highlighting, you imply that people don't receive the Holy Spirit until they are baptized in water. That contradicts Acts 10:47.

You are right some get the Holy Ghost first some don't.

Acts 2, Before they were baprtized.
Acts 8 They were baprtized and had to send for Peter and John to get it and may have been days or weeks later?
Acts 10 Before they were baptized.
Acgs 19 Came out of the water and Paul laid hands on them.

It's the parallel. No one decided or did anything to be created naturally. The parallel is that no one decided or did anything to be recreated spiritually.

Wrong. Sometimes babies don’t cooperate and are born breach or via a Ceaserian operation.

The point is God designed the natural birth to parallel the rebirth. The birthing process itself involves turning and coming out of water. Receiving breath and the Holy Spirit are essential as well.

The birthing process itself involves turning and coming out of water. Receiving breath and the Holy Spirit are essential as well. And I agree. The bible does reveal a person can receive the Holy Spirit prior to or after water baptism.

Being created and made alive precedes all those things.

I drew the parallelism between the natural birth and spiritual birth. Both begin with creation and the impartation of life.
The OP is suggesting that the natural birth teaches some things about the natural birth. I concur that this is so, but I don't agree with everything he has postulate.
Do you believe that physical birth requires a natural creation and impartation of life? Does any one who is created and given life contribute in any way towards this occurring?
