I had a hard time voting.
1. Yes, I think a totalitarian regime as described in 1984 is coming, but not as a result of this election.
2. Yes I can see a lot of parallels with Idiocracy, but again, that is outside the scope of this election.
3. This is probably the closest, this would have been my second choice. But let's be fair, NYC was already well on the path to this before this election.
4. Yes, I think this election is a statement that the extremists on the left are going to take a stand. I believe NYC will become unlivable for taxpayers and business owners and they'll leave. This will be a highly polarizing event.
5. Probably the least likely and most absurd option.
6. Yes we are heading to a great depression, but that was long before this election. The election is a symptom, not a cause.
7. Yes, voting for Mamdani is like getting high on heroin. I'm sure many feel euphoric right now, but we all know how heroin addicts end up.
Unfortunately this is just another example of the true so called right wing conspiracy calling out the democrats agenda of flooding the country with foreigners. Do we have demographics yet of who voted?
Obviously socialism appeals to the 30 and younger crowd. I saw a poll of those that got him elected was 75% 30 and younger and many had only been in the city 5 years or less.
Was this intentional?
Anyways thankfully he is just a governor as there is no way he can hold to his campaign promises. No socialist could without true power.
He is much like a charismatic socialist as Hitler was and holding to just as extreme of a worldview darkened by Islam. The Jews and Christians better relocate.
Sadly I would think if the democrat voters saw such failure in his leadership they would vote differently. But in another state, they voted in a man who was exposed in a text talking about kids being killed.
I guess we forget this same 30 and younger crowd is who they are appealing to. This same group has been trained to see everyone else as a fascist. This same group that cheered for Charlie's death.
Growing up we once thought how could people be so brainwashed to murder millions of Jews/people. Well just as the state of California has now greatly destroyed parental rights these socialists know that if they can turn the children, the children will turn on the parents.
Even to the point of children telling on their parents to be arrested.
I'm hopeful that the New York Democrats will see the lies and failed promises which should easily come. No one can give away that much as free without feeling the cost elsewhere.
Hopeful but I also understand that Satan is involved and people are blinded. Truth is like the seed sown on rocky soil. The children of Satan are just doing what is in their nature. The thirst for power, greed, and lust.
They want power to destroy those who disagree. They want greed because sacrificial serving and working to make a living is just something them 3rd world countries do. And finally they lust for sexual freedom. Freedom to the kids, the animals, same sex, multiple partners, orgies, etc.
Republicans better wake up. This happens every time. They get complacent and do not vote as good in the midterms and the presidential election. Scary enough, the new New York mayor has the fight, the charisma, and can sell the lies to probably be on a future presidential ballot. Imagine a socialist Islamist responding to Israel or Afghanistan's nukes. May that never be a reality.
