David did not oppose animal sacrifice; instead, he emphasized that genuine worship requires personal sacrifice and a sincere heart, and that God values repentance over mere rituals. In a pivotal moment, when King Saul offered to give David a sacrifice, David refused, stating he would not offer something that cost him nothing.

I would like to point out that Jesus did offer himself as a sacrifice and shed his blood for the forgiveness of sins to establish his ministry. I also believe part of his covenant agreement with us is that we would do the same if we are to follow him. I don't believe that we are free from Jesus laws or the 10 commandments. We fufill this by loving god and neighbor. We can only do this trough gods grace and the work of the holy spirit. I don't believe in the rapture or that we are saved through a profession of faith through the finished work but through obedience to Christ.

Matthew 9:13 - 13 But go and learn what this means: I desire mercy, not sacrifice

Hosea 6:6 For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.

Psalm 40:6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire but my ears you have opened burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require.

Deuteronomy 12:31 - You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.

Isaiah 1:11 - To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

The moses scroll may be worth checking out. Im convinced this animal sacrifice stuff was added in the Mosaic covinant. In the Moses scroll theres no mention of animal sacrifice.

Leviticus 1:2 "Speak to the Israelites..."

Leviticus 2:1 "When someone brings a grain offering to the Lord..."

Leviticus 3:1 "When someone's offering is a fellowship offering..."

Leviticus 4:1 "Say to the Israelites..."

Leviticus 5:1 "If a person sins..."

Leviticus 6:1 "If anyone sins and is unfaithful to the LORD..."

Leviticus 7:23 "Say to the Israelites..."

I could go on, but seven witnesses should be enough to convince you that Leviticus is not just for priests.

David was not a priest; he was a king. Jesus, descended from David came, in part, to replace the Levitical priesthood with the Melchizedek priesthood.
Jarimiah 8:8 shows that the laws of Moses has been falsely applied and misrepresented by the lying pe s of the scribes. Check out the Moses scroll. Scholars are taking another look at it as a serious possibility that it may be legitimate. There is no mention of animal sacrifice and ro laws are mentioned by jesus in there from moses law that was lost. Do not hate your brother or you murder in your heart and do not look with lust or you commit adultery in your heart. Also only the curses were mentioned in the old testament for braking these laws. The Moses scroll also mentions the blessings for following these laws. I also believe Hazekiah reformed the bible to bring it in better alignment with the tribe of Judah. This revival includes removing El Elyon Yahweh and Asherah as the 3 gods who make the foundation of Jewish worship by having Yahweh LORD and God and Shekinah replace Asherah as the feminine aspe

Yes, "Shekinah" is a feminine term referring to the divine feminine or the feminine aspect of God, particularly in Jewish mysticism and Kabbalah. The word itself is a Hebrew feminine noun that means "dwelling" and came to personify God's presence among people. In this mystical context, the Shekhinah is seen as a divine female entity associated with attributes like love, compassion, and healing.

Right now the sources im looking at are the Bible, dead sea scrolls, Essene gospel of peace, Gospel of the Nazarene's, Gospel of Thomas, Essene Creeds, and Moses scroll. Im seeing how these line up with gods cariter, the prophets, and the words of Jesus. Im convinced that the words of Jesus from the bible is all you need but these other sources are very edifying for my faith. Jesus is a Nazarene. The early sect that followed Jesus was Nazarene. Many scholars belive Jesus and John the baptist were Essenes and the Essene creeds Jesus taught. The moses scroll line up better with the prophets and Jesus ministry and Jesus seems to make mention of the two missing laws from the moses scrolls. Dead sea scrolls is another source from the Essenes that was preserved from Roman rule. Gospel of peace shows how christ miracles were performed and Gospel of Thomas validate Jesus teaching the the kingdom of heaven is within. Gospel of the Nazarene's just makes sense and lines up with the Essenes.

Let me get this straight: you reject Paul, but take these other non-biblical sources as reliable?

Yep. I want consistency with gods character, the prophets, and Jesus. These help me find consistency. Jesus and john the Baptist were Essenes and early christian group was the Nazarene sect.

Let me emphasize that Jesus words in the bible is enough. I don't need theses other sources but the help me go deeper. What did Christ mean when he says the kindom of heaven is within you and before Moses was I am?

Exactly what He said. The kingdom of heaven is not a physical location but a spiritual reality. “Before Abraham was, I am” (John 8:58) means Jesus was around then and that He is the “I am” whom Moses met at the burning bush.

The Nazarene's believe Jesus is the Messiah and born of a vergin but not god. Gospel of Thomas goes into the. The kingdom of heaven is within you means the divine god and his kingdom is within you. Before Aberham was I am means the divine is not restricted to a mountain or temple. Before Moses and Aarons pristhood god was with Aberham. The reply thinking he was claiming to be god. Your breath is god your heartbeat is god your life is god. If god is not in you you have no life. If your alive then god is there. There is no life seprate from god.

With respect, your post is convoluted and makes little sense.

Romans 2:13 states, "For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified".

Acts 21:25 As for the Gentile believers, we have written to them our decision that they should abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality.”

1 Corinthians 9:21

21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law.

Paul is pointing out we as Gentiles are not required to follow the laws required by the Jews or animal sacrifice but because Paul is a jew he is required to fulfill laws reserved for the Jews. By following Jesus law the Gentiles fulfill the Torah. Therefor Paul is bound as a Jew, but through Jesus he is free. So Paul is not required to follow the law for the Jews perfectly by coming under Jesus new covenant but must follow Jewish law because he is a Jew.

Im seeing that Paul will look for a contradiction and search till he finds the answer for that contradiction. He will then give a sermon on that answer. For example we are called to be righteous, but none is righteous. So Paul finds that Aberhams faith was counted as righteous. The answer to this contradiction is faith. Paul gives a sermon on faith. Paul is confusing cause you see his process to find the answer to solve a conflict. Also different requirements for Jews and Gentiles when it comes to the law.

No one was required to follow the Old Covenant once it was fulfilled in Christ.

There is a difference between continuing traditions, and following Jewish law because one is compelled to.

Not true. When you become Jewish its for life. He was still bound as a Jew. This is what Paul is talking about.

Those born Jewish had been cut off from the vine. Those few who have accepted Christ as Saviour are grafted back into the vine, but they don't remain under the Law. If they did, Christ would be of no benefit to them.

Nope. We are grafted in as Gentiles to be part of the Jewish vine.
