A different point of view is that 100k dead each year from drug overdoses with Fentanyl are actually far worse than any terrorist attack on the US, and so it is foolish to distinguish between terrorists who are wearing military uniforms and those who are drug smugglers.
You have the right to your viewpoint just as people have the right to be blind, that is not a crime. However, the official position of the US is that those drug smugglers are an invading army of terrorists and that is why we are using our military to destroy any that would attempt to invade the US. This battle is taking place on our border.
