Is it not at least possible that God is not limited to only what is spoken of Him, in scripture? If it is acceptable that God be considered to be three ever-existing Persons, is it not at least possible that the Godhead could consist of more than three ever-existing Persons, but only three of them are involved in managing this world. Should mere dust particles be claiming a comprehensive understanding of the composition of the Creator who is greater than this entire universe, and condemning to hell anyone who fails to agree to the limits they place on what God can be or do?

But I see people all of the time praying and asking the Holy Ghost for things and guess what it never happens.

I've always not been completely comfortable with using the term 'persons' for the Triune God.

To me, that word ..it seems like 3 separate beings.

Substances i think would be better..but then of course Jesus isn't just a substance. Neither is the Holy Spirit.

What Unitarians do, and probably JWs etc.. is they say the power Jesus has is given by the Father..given to Him as a mortal man.

The problem with this reasoning, is Jesus often times was the giver of the power Himself. He would do things under His own authority, that were equal with the Father's power.
