Hey Everyone,
Are you having a busy time of preparing for Christmas events at church and with family?
How about taking a break from all the hustle and bustle by participating in one of the most popular of holiday traditions -- The Ugly Christmas Sweater!!! Now I have to confess, I fibbed a bit in the thread title. This isn't actually an "annual" thing on CC -- I last wrote about this topic in 2019 -- but we all love traditions, so we can at least pretend this topic is a yearly tradition!
Ugly Christmas Sweaters -- you've seen them, you've worn them (don't worry, we won't tell anybody
) -- and now you get to share them with other people!
Go ahead, post your best (or worst) pictures of the most ridiculous holiday attire, whether it be for people, pets, cars (how many SUV'S have YOU passed today sporting red noses and reindeer antlers?!), decorations, food -- anything eye-rollingly bad but family-friendly is good!
Everyone is welcome to post.
And so, to kick things off and get those (gawdy) holiday garments rolling... Who needs JUST an ugly Christmas Sweater when you can have an entire(ly) ugly Christmas Suit! (Seeing as even the tie matches, I have to wonder if he has socks with the same print as well.)
And you could always take The Grinch's route, making sure to cover all the bases -- while also insulting everyone in the process!

Please also feel free to include your own observations of (especially if you can't or don't want to post pictures!,) for example:
* Describe the most hideous Christmas outfit/accessory you've ever seen (or worn, or was given!)
* Tell us about Christmas decorations that should be outlawed -- and which ones already are -- by the HOA (Home Owner's Association.)
* What other Christmas disasters have you survived? (Kitchen disasters, like dropping the food, burned cookies, recipes that didn't turn out quite right, etc.)
* And, for only the very brave -- what are some of the ugliest, most obnoxious Christmas things you've seen -- but actually LIKED?! (GASP!)
I'm looking forward to seeing your contributions of the very best -- of the very worst!

Necessary Disclaimer:
This thread is meant to be just a bit of lighthearted fun amidst what can be a very stressful season. Anyone wanting to make serious posts about Christmas (such as the opinion that people should be posting only Scripture and not pictures of ugly sweaters, etc.) is welcome to do so -- in your very own thread.
Merry Christmas!!
