His will for me? To follow Him.

Then why dont you? The will of God is Christ in you the hope of glory. He in you and you in Him as one. His will is that you be one with Him He in you and you in Him as one, His will is that you have the mind of Christ.

You buck his will for you in every way of your life and flat out refuse it.

The baptism of the Holy Ghost is not an experience apart from Jesus Christ: it is the evidence of the ascended Christ.
It is not the baptism of the Holy Ghost which changes men, but the power of the ascended Christ coming into men's lives by the Holy Ghost that changes them.
The baptism of the Holy Ghost is not an experience apart from Jesus Christ: it is the evidence of the ascended Christ
.

If one is born again, he has put on the Christ. Christ in you.

Statements like that are what is causing our hackles to raise.

Your message is one of judgment on others, whenever it isn't one of claiming utter perfection for yourself.

When you callously accuse your young sister in Christ of not following God's will for her, it makes it very hard for me to even so much as WANT to try to understand the rest of your words.

Thankfully, she's got a good head on her shoulders and seems strong in her faith :)

I've been raised Christian, MissCriss, and I'm glad to have been or else I might NOT have been able to be this strong. Even then, it ain't me, it's all Jesus. :) Thank you, Jesus.

The whole of these discussions is Christ in you, You and He as one. Why would I pat someone on the back if they deny what He came to give us and make us be? Im not judging anyone they judge themselves by saying it is heresy.

What do you want me to say -- It is OK to not follow His way and will for you?

Like it or not His will for us is to be like Him and one with Him.

Very good, Thank you.
One thing I have discovered in Christ is -- having faith in Christ is not the same as having the faith of Christ. Christ came to give us His faith and we are to have His faith. I said this in a previous post that the blind man couldn’t see Jesus standing in front of him, but his faith applied resulted in seeing that what he did not see before. Had the blind man not applied faith in that what he couldn’t see, his result would have been confined to his darkness. It’s easy to say we have faith in Christ but a whole different scenario to apply that faith to obtain the same result as the blind man, no matter the difficulty. And the only way one can obtain that kind of faith is if the author of it Christ be in you. You simply cannot do it on your own merit.
There seems to be a facet missing in this witness; something that isn't easy to see because as christians, we tend to not understand that we are indeed blind, and faith came by the hearing of the Word and we believed. Jesus gives parable language to teach us who we are and why we are that way in God's sight. It is because many parable (life) languages are read as if about someone else, that a person lacks understanding on a personal level concerning the things Jesus desired we come to understand. This is no small problem in christian circles for lack of leadership. It's worth repeating something Jesus said, "IF you say you can see, you remain in your sin." This is not about someone else, and the parable language of the blind man then becomes very personal. I do not consider this as applied faith. We do not have faith to apply; but when we heard the Word of God and believed, it was in the believing of something that gave hope where there was no hope while we remained in the confinement of sin; and that hope being grace found in Christ.

Gary you mutate. Not uncommon. Spread dillusions then refer back to nearly sound doctrine, when
it serves your purpose.

Red, there is a truth to keep a level of respect to all men. And especially to keep love
among the brethren even when their doctrine is in flux as they are growing. Although
the timing of your reproof again shows you havnt followed the discourse and taken oppurtunity
to throw a jab. In trying to make small the beauty of the unity of the body that rejoices in the
truth and make it sound as if its a flesh ridden gang formation is really unwarrented, and
has caused you to align your self with a man who you think has good insite. Very well
thats where you want to stand...well its your choice. You therefore have approved of
misleading and false teaching of a very serious kind. And again you have made it all personal.

This is part of something I just posted on another thread.

When we receive Christ, our spirits become purified, THROUGH HIM.

That pure, holy spirit in us is housed in the temporary shell of SINFUL FLESH.

In our spirits, we desire to be perfect even as God is perfect. Our spirit wills us to be holy, while our flesh has a nasty tendency to pull us the other direction.

When we receive Christ's Spirit in us, our sins are forgiven. Our sinful flesh is WHY we CONTINUE to NEED FORGIVENESS.

"My spirit is willing, but my flesh is so weak"....

We've been supporting what we say with Scriptures, also. The struggling with sin from Romans 7, for instance. We are not EXCUSING sin with it, we are NOT saying it's fine to continue in sin.

God Himself knew that even once we have been washed clean by the blood of Jesus, we still would sometimes be tempted in our flesh, and He ALLOWS FOR THAT IN HIS WORD, so that His children would understand that it IS the flesh that causes us to stumble, but we ARE still His children...EVEN IF WE MAKE MISTAKES IN OUR FLESH.

Does God CONDONE what His children sometimes do in their flesh? NO. We therefore strive not to disappoint the Father.

But thanks to being born of sin, thanks to our purified spirits being temporarily confined in sinful flesh, sometimes we DO stumble.

We are not truly perfect in Christ until our spirits depart from this flesh and we join God in Heaven.

I certainly do not seek to mislead anyone, or to tell anyone that it's acceptable to continue on in sin once they accept Christ. But I personally find it misleading to tell people that once they receive Christ, they will no longer struggle with sin.

Why would you who confess that you follow the way of Christ call His way for you a heresy? What is it about His faith that you do not agree with? What religion do you follow that would confess such obstinacy against the one who came to give you His faith?
LOL.
your christ isn't the One i know, and am known of.
came to give me his "faith"?

my Christ came to die in my place for the forgiveness of my sins....and was RAISED TO LIFE FOR MY JUSTIFICATION.

but that's MY King. i wonder if you know Him?

this sounds a lot more like your christ:

Birthing the Christ Consciousness and Divine Human in You
Christ consciousness is not a religion but a state of being available to everyone. It is an internal experience, a realization of the Divine within, or our spiritual source. When we listen openly and intuitively to God and see life clearly, we activate the Christ expression within no matter our wisdom tradition. Twelve principles for becoming The Divine Human are included that allow you to gift humanity with your awakened self.

...............................................................

Birthing the Christ Within - Retreat

The archetypal story of the Christos or Christ has been shared for many thousands of years within cultures all around the world. Only in the last 2000 years was the journey of the Christ popularised into an historical and literal account of one particular man (Yeshua Ben Yoseph or Jesus the Christ). This one change in the archetypal story of the Christ was motivated by politics not spirituality. It has separated the truth of the Christ from Man; it has separated Man from the Heart. Now, it’s time that changed. Let us join together at Easter for two intensive days of rediscovery... of birthing the living Christ within the Heart of Man... within you now.

Who would attend Birthing the Christ Within?

If within your Heart you feel moved & inspired by the real possibility of awakening your true potential—as portrayed in the ancient archetype of the Christos—join with me in this experience of Birthing the Christ Within. We are literally midwives to our own Perfection. Part lecture, part active meditations, part questions and answers; this is an opportunity to feel intimately empowered & at home within the depths of your Heart... within your life... within your world.

Some of the topics you can expect to explore

• The true nature of Man/Woman as a Divine Being
• Merging the I AM Presence into the body
• Integrating past pain & emotion—to be here now
• Seeing the world through the eyes of the Christ
• Moving beyond intellectual structure and form
• Moving beyond dualities, judgment, and suffering
• Cleansing and nourishing the body~mind
• Three ways of entering into the Space of Love within the Heart through an a special meditation

..........................................................

MANCHILD - CHRIST IN YOU
Stephen Jones explores the mystery of Christ in You and delves into the concept of the "Manchild" ... that birthing of spirit of Christ in You. Stephen goes in depth into this nature of this birthing process and shows how it closesly follows the natural human birthing as well as paralleling the feast days of Israel.

.........................................................

A description (Christ, Son of God born of a virgin) of the process of giving 'birth' to Christ within one's self. A knowledge of the charisteristics of the ancient astrological sign of Virgo (The Virgin) is required; in addition to the very basic understanding that thought has a creative component.

.........................................................

from: Christ in You is the Hope of Glory.

The first measure of Christ is the Light, Christ, that is in all men that come into the world. Everyone also has the Holy Spirit of God, because it was poured out on all mankind at Pentecost, (Acts 2:14-21), and the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal, 1 Cor 12:7 . His Spirit is chained down, subject to your selfish spirit that rules you. This seed of God is waiting to be sought, listened to, and obeyed - which causes growth. From the seed of Christ, which is chained down within a man, Christ must increase, while the rebellious spirit of man decreases - until finally Christ appears within a man, to be seen, to be witnessed, to bring salvation, to bring the Kingdom, to bring glory to the purified believer. This seed, light, or spirit of God is your talent, which must be improved in this life; if you fail to grow it, in the next life it is taken away from you and given to another who has improved their talent, while you are cast into outer darkness as a wicked and unworthy servant. Step I is the seed, chained down.

..........................................................

and:

Matthew Fox
is known for someone who has long crossed over the line and incorporated mysticism into Christianity. He among many wants to convince you that this is the right direction. In his book The Coming of the Cosmic Christ Fox contends that we should throw out any idea of a “historical Jesus” (p. 7). We should focus on the “Cosmic Christ” who is defined as “the pattern that connects” (p. 133). His experience shaped his new theology “The birthing of the Cosmic Christ is the purpose of the incarnation ... Divinity wants to birth the Cosmic Christ in each and every individual” (p. 122) The Cosmic Christ connects every part of creation with every other part: heaven with earth, divinity with humanity (p. 134). There is nothing off limits to people like this that name Christ and have no connection to the Bible or basis for their faith.

of course.
but this is how we learn i reckon.

James apparently didn't suspect the Judaizers that went to Galatia. they spilled it when they got there.
these things take time and discernment.

Actually A Christians eyes has been opened and if there isa facet missing then your eyes are still closed to His truth and Christ is missing from your being. He really does open eyes to his light.

And we do not tend to not understand, we in Christ understand perfectly, all of heaven is opend to us. Jesus spoke in parables to those who did not know what it is to have what he had. And I never have read where Jesus said if you say you can see, you remain in sin, you will have to quote that one to me.

You don’t have faith to see doent mean others don’t, it only means you don’t. And you cant hear Him at all without using faith to begin with. And Christ in you teaches YOU to exchange grace for grace.

I agree with you. It is not gonna happen in you.
And what you mean is that you can’t be sinless … it doesnt mean others cant it only means you cant and that doesn’t mean when Christ came to take away our sin, 1 John 3:5, that He cant do that. It means that you deny that He can do that in you is all: and is a direct rejection of the one who comes and takes away the sins of this world.

I know He cant take away your sin, you have told us that He cant. I’m not disputing that at all. What I am disputing is that He cant do that in me when He has already.
