I said my spirit animal might be a black cat and that might've been confirmed by the one kitten in the litter of four I fostered this past fall who left claw tracks up my legs so she could sit on my shoulder. However, every time I've been asked this question, the eagle has always initially come to mind, but I typically just dismiss it as a fanciful idea because I just have such a reservation about accepting such a 'regal' aspiration for myself, for whatever reason. But I can't help thinking of that giant eagle the landed alit under the oak tree within yards from me and 'stared' at me. It must've been at least five feet tall, no kidding, and so the added descriptive 'giant.' I don't know if this was a real or a vision, as it seems so, I don't know, surreal, and it reminds me of the dream of a similar fixed gaze that a young girl that did or did not resemble me sitting on the couch of my childhood home. I've searched the web over for a fitting image but I can't find anything not even reasonably close to it. Maybe I'll take up the venture in a painting sometime.
its sad they end up abusing those animals like that just to benefit from them.
I know we humans are generally meat eaters after the fall but ethically speaking I pay my taxes and expect the animals don't suffer. Not everyone can afford novelty expensive or organic products and shame on those with all the money who not supporting a better way for these animals to live. Kudos to the animal rights activists. They are out there doing the right thing.
