I prefer whole milk as well but I am a big guy, and my dietitian said I should probably cut all dairy out of my diet, so I went with lactaid 1% or 2%.

Also, I used to like jelly/jam in kindergarten and after that, I just never liked it again. So i mostly eat a straight peanut butter sandwich
Straight peanut butter sandwich is OK as long as it is Jiff. Never was a fan of Skippy.

I could eat steak every single day. In fact, I used to haha. Nothing like a good ribeye.

I once went to a restaurant called MEAT in Santa Monica with a couple of long time friends. We ordered their best steak, which cost $300 total for one steak, so we all shared it.

Apparently, they have the steak sit in a specific, almost room temperature, for a month, before they serve it to you.

I still think the rib eyes I get from Amazon and make at home taste better though.

It was a great experience. Not sure if that place still exists. It was so empty before Covid that I don’t think it made it past that year.
ribeye is my wife's favorite. sounds like a kind of dry aging. benjamin's steakhouse & gallagher's steak house in Manhattan use high quality dry aging methods. the steaks are so tasty & tender.

Whatever I found in the fridge and around it..
Peppers, cucumber (no, it is not dirt from the floor on them, its black pepper..), cayenne chickpeas, broccoli, cottage cheese, cat food (tuna from a tin) with mayo, tortilla chips and my favourite of all these; blue cheese.

Eating small breakfast hits you when lunch time comes...

I altered a Baba's Bites recipe for this Garlicky Chicken Loaf. For the side, I sauteed zucchini, summer squash, broccoli, onion, red & yellow bell pepper, garlic, paprika, and Italian seasonings)...

Dry aging is pretty amazing but I do like just a standard grass fed rib eye, that I can cook on the stove.

I guess dry aging would be for special occasions, if the restaurant carries it and if others want to share it.

Usually the dry aged steaks that I’ve seen are pretty monsterous. I have a stiff heart at the moment, so I probably shouldn’t be eating anything like that.

My quick lunch yesterday:

I peeled two beetroots and one carrot, then diced them. I tossed the vegetables in a little oil and roasted them in the oven until tender, seasoning with salt afterward. While they were baking, I quickly pan fried some fish fingers and diced onion. I served everything together with a handful of rucola and an egg.

1 of the restaurants i described, uses the system where the waiter brings out a new platter of steaks every so often. you get f. mignon, ribeye, london, sirloin, kobe & i think, even wagyu.

Burrito bowl. I think this might be the best bowl I've made so far. It consists of seasoned ground turkey, homemade pico de gallo, pinto beans, avocado slices, and red/brown/purple rice...

I made lentil soup today and to go along with it, I made a caramelized onion, spinach, and Gouda bread. This bread is so incredible. After I tried it, I heard a loud crack of thunder and so I said, "This bread is so good, even the sky had to shout!" 😋

I'm really enjoying our morning walks! 🐦
Me too! And I didn’t even stretch today like I was going to and even then, my legs don’t hurt today, even though I walked almost 4 times than my first day walking this week
