I just do not see this in religious terms, Islam cannot be defeated on the battle field and that really does not put the Good News in a good light at all.

We don't have a draft in the US, so this person volunteered and was happy to get a paycheck to play soldier right up until it meant being a soldier. If you don't agree with the army or war don't enlist. I have no problem with an American not wanting to enlist, and I do not encourage anyone to enlist. But once you enlist you have a covenant that you must keep otherwise you are a covenant breaker, and in Hebrew the term for a covenant breaker is "whore".

You are looking at it wrongly then. Islam is a religion, which is why it is so hard to defeat intellectually and logically. Muslims genuinely believe that they are superior and that they are called to rule the world. There are Muslims who are like nominal Christians, Muslim in name and custom, but who do not take it to heart. There are others who follow the Quran to the letter and seek to impose Sharia by force if necessary.

Many Muslims are seeing the light. Jesus has appeared to many in Gaza and Iran. One testimony I read said that the Muslim was given the address of a Christian who led him to Jesus. I have a prayer diary for former Muslims working to lead others to Jesus. Anyone who loves war is either mentally deranged or an armchair warrior. At times, war is the only solution. That time is now.

I'm already aware of the verse and the whole Bible. You quote me giving a quick comment earlier to cv5 in regards to noting the crazy cult in Iran betraying Turkey and what a great mistake that is for them (due to the obvious NATO implications that cv5 noted).
So I'll just ask directly, what's the Jews got to do with it? Best I can come up with is I guess Iran is inwardly like Judas Iscariot and betrayed all their allies and neutral regional neighbors like Turkey which we were talking about. But since that seemed to be stretchng the metaphor a bit much I figure I just directly ask what you mean.

Sure, there's many cults and many antichrists, just like John wrote, and it doesn't have to be the Apocalypse yet to start stomping them down. Praise Jesus.
