People who have the Holy Spirt are also not afraid to talk about specific commands that God writes on our hearts that we're to obey and encourage others to obey God too to express our love for God in the way He wants to be loved, knowing that this pleases the Lord.


Your group is always so vague at what exactly it is your obeying, that that it just sounds like you actually don't, since none of you can bring yourselves to say exactly what it is you're obeying

I haven't been vague at all or told anyone not to obey. I asked very specifically about a command to glorify God in all things, and particularly how one would obey this command in the drinking of a glass of orange juice. Can you tell me how one would do this?

And again, it is the indwelling Spirit who embodies love in an individual. This has nothing to do with the individual other than God's love will be manifested through them. Read Romans 5:5...it is THE LOVE OF GOD that is shed abroad in one's heart. The source of the love is God. The action is performed by God. It is manifested through the individual.

I sympathize with you friend,
... daily I examine myself and see myself as unapproved, reprobate and " Oh wretched man that I am.", by my un-Christ likeness. And daily I'm asking forgiveness for my "lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of Life." We will never be without sin, and never be without the NEED for Jesus as Savior & Friend, every minute of the day.

In 2 Corinthians 13:5, Paul urges believers to examine themselves to see if they are truly in the faith:

"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" (KJV)

Paul is encouraging believers to engage in self-reflection and honest evaluation of their spiritual condition. The phrase "Jesus Christ is in you" refers to Christ dwelling within through the Holy Spirit. If Christ is truly in you, you will bear the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23), and your life will reflect His character and obedience to God's commandments.

The term "reprobate" refers to someone who has been rejected or disapproved due to a persistent lack of faith and disobedience to God’s will. Paul warns that a person who fails to examine themselves may end up being rejected because they do not reflect the character of Christ. I doubt you are reprobate, ( without the holy Spirit ) because you are still asking questions and striving to know Jesus more completely, ( The Holy Spirit is working with you, unto sanctification, towards glorification ), rather than having a prideful self-righteous attitude, expressing doctrines of demons, as some people do.

The better and more consistence we can "be like Jesus" in our lives, the more we are putting on Jesus' Robe of Righteousness, and the more likely we will be judged righteous at the soon close of probation, when Michael (Jesus) will stand up, close the Books and say;
Revelation 22:11-12 "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

NO, all those who do nor keep or reject Jesus words are not indwelt because they have hardened their hearts, what did Jesus say about lawlessness,? can you quote his verses? God decided where the holy spirit dwells see Samuel for confirmation of this, it is given but can be taken back, just remember that!

We can bless God for it, give thanks to God for it, make sure that it is in accordance with what God permitted us to consume, drink it with the right heart, and be hospitable to others by sharing it with guests.

Last days of what?

I didn't simply ask about a glass of orange juice. I asked about obeying a command. All the Pharisees tell us that we are to obey and teach the commands to others. Yet, not one of you can show how to obey a command. You don't find that unsettling?

Further, the Pharisees of today don't understand the new covenant any better than those in Jesus' day. Read Ezekiel 36:26-27. What allows for the obedience of God's people? Is it not the actions of God providing a new heart and giving of the Holy Spirit? Verse 37 literally says that God causes them to walk in His statutes. Human ability and endeavor do not produce obedience. God does.

So rather than getting up each day and committing oneself to a regimen of obedience which will inevitably fail, one should get up and follow the practices that place us in God's presence wherein He will cause us to walk in His ways...Proverbs 3:5-6.

That's an easy question, I've got a book here that is VERY detailed about how to keep God's Law. This book reveals Jesus the Christ and His Righteousness. Jesus told us and showed us how to keep the Will of God... Pray ! Read your Bible and have Faith ! Amen !

That wasn't so hard. This is a much fuller answer. How do you know if you have obeyed the command completely?

Well, then answer. The book is useless unless you can practice it.

How would you obey the command to glorify God in the drinking of a glass of orange juice?
