No Cameron not all Christians that is certain.
Please provide evidence from Scripture that there are genuine Christians (after Acts 2) who have not received the Holy Spirit. Don't waste your time with Acts 19; those were John's disciples and didn't have the full gospel.

What is your next article on?

It's nice that you can speak more than one language. I learned French in school but was never that good at it. I remember one French poem or saying because it's so short. I like it though.

I do not see a scenario where someone is encouraging someone else not to obey what God says because the Spirit is saying something different.
Again you demonstrate your lack of understanding. There is a vast difference between "encouraging someone else not to obey" and proclaiming that Christians are not under the law.

Our righteousness before God is neither attained nor maintained by our adherence to the Sinai law, but rather by faith in Jesus Christ.

So is faith in your view not obeying what God asks? When God claimed the Ten Commandments as "His commandments" Exo20:6 not Moses do we show faith by believing Him at His word or trying to force it be "Sinai law" when one won't find this in Scripture.

If God is not allowed to define His own laws and how He wants us to love Him, than who has that authority to tell God what are His commandments and how we are to love Him- if we erase God's own voice, not sure what's left that matters. Its not something Jesus who is God did or the apostles, when they quoted the Ten Commandments they gave the glory to God and called them what God said- God's commandments. To claim they are not is essentially putting us in the place of God and that's not the spirit we want to subject oursvles to, we want to be servants of the LORD and join ourselves to Him Isa56:6

Faith is defined in Hebrews 11:1. There is nothing there about obedience.

Don't bother stating that Moses was not the author of the commandments; that's a red herring.

Where was the Law given? At Sinai. Do you have a problem with that? Get over it.

Who said God is not allowed to define His own laws, etc.? Not I.

Deal with what I wrote, not with your knee-jerk reaction to it.

Yes, you're the victim. Poor you.. So now you're excused from having to obey, God, right?

Show one person on this thread who has said anyone shouldn't obey. Just once. You can't because no one has made such a statement. What some have tried to do is show from whence obedience comes.

Has anyone here actually presented this idea as their own? Or are you just dragging garbage into the discussion to throw at your opponents?
Actually Dino, YOU for one, promote and uphold this "idea of disobedience" by this sort of corruption of truth, as EVIDENCE to this claim. I submit'

From the "The Ten Commandments are the Covenant, did you know?" thread, post #3,394

To this statement;
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” Matthew 5:17, KJV
Destroy means cancel. Replace. Abolish.
(To which Dino246 replied ) "And "fulfill" means "bring to completion". If something has been brought to completion, why do you think you still need to add your obedience to it?"
Here you are promoting a theology of disobedience
"Fulfill" does not in any way mean "magnify". Jesus did both, but He did not conflate them.

"Fulfill" does, however, have the inherent meaning of "make complete" as one "fulfills" a mortgage by making the last payment and leaving nothing outstanding.

Jesus completed the Law, leaving nothing outstanding for those who believe in Him.
IN OTHER WORD ! you are saying
"Jesus kept the Law, so now, I don't have to" excuse is but one concept mankind uses to continue in our sin, "disobedience" and yet thinking that we are "Christian" and fit for Heaven. WRONG !

that would be the first commandment if you knew them you would know this, to Glorify God, do what He told us, He said: Be Holy as I AM Holy. good bye this was our last chat.
Sure it's an aspect of it. But practicing the 1st commandment is varied. How do you know you are currently doing so?

When the message of salvation first went out, The Apostles had to contend for the faith against those called Judaizers who affirmed the Messiahship of Jesus but taught that certain requirements, customs and practices of the OLD COVENANT had to be practiced before a person could be truly saved. The word Judaizer comes from a Greek verb meaning “to live according to Jewish customs.” The word appears in Galatians 2:14 where Paul describes how he confronted Peter for forcing Gentile Christians to “Judaize.” Judaizers taught that, in order person to be acceptable to God" they had first to conform to all the customs and practices which were required of Jews under the Mosaic Law. This naturally would include the practices of keeping Shabbat.

At one time I knew a (Gentile) woman who had converted to Judaism. She described it as a year-long process. First, she had to be sponsored by a Rabbi. Following this was a year of study about Jewish law and culture. This culminated in an interview before a beit din or Rabbinical Court. Finally came the mikvah or ritual immersion in which she had to be submerged (naked) in a pool of water.
Male converts who wanted to join the covenant had to be circumcised. Once I knew someone who was circumcised as an adult. He said recovery was a very painful process. Paul, who was trained to be a rabbi understood the requirements that had to be met. He
undertook the task of circumcising Timothy whose father was Greek. He did it because he knew that he would not be accepted by any Jewish audience unless he was.

The Judaizers, taught that in order to be saved from sin, male converts had to receive circumcision which was the seal and sign of the covenant of both Abraham and Moses. In their thinking, non-covenant Gentiles had to first become Jewish proselytes before they could brought into covenant with Christ. Thus the doctrine of the Judaizers was a mixture of GRACE (through Christ) and works (works meaning actions required by the Law). The idea that the gospel is a hybrid of grace and "works of the Law" was utterly rejected by Paul, as well as Peter and the other apostles who had been taught by Jesus.

One of the fundamental "works" that had to be done was receiving circumcision. Circumcision had been required for centuries, of all who had been born into the family of Abraham as well as all those who wanted to join in the covenant of Abraham and Moses. Having known someone who was circumcised as an adult, I can say that this was a painful process that shows more commitment than merely refraining from work on the Seventh Day.

When it comes to obeying Christ from the heart you Sabbatarians impress me as dilettantes - obeying the easiest commands (like refraining from labor on Shabbat) while rejecting what Jesus called "weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faithfulness." which necessarily includes bringing perishing souls to repentance and reconciliation with God. Instead, your goal seems to be getting people to practice Judaism more assiduously.

Nice poem indeed, both French and the English language have wonderful poets.

still working on the millennial kingdom, the prophecy speaking of it is complex. I compiled a lot of info, my problem is finding a format that will be acceptable, I tried to post a new thread last weened about matthew 23 with a PDF attached it showed in the list as being reviewed but it never got posted and I don't know why, i will need to ask them, the contents was simple and not problematic...

in the short term i want to write about sanctification what it is and how to do so... but before i will try to find out wht my posts dont get through.

Well, then answer. The book is useless unless you can practice it.

How would you obey the command to glorify God in the drinking of a glass of orange juice?
I would pray to God, ( Giving HIM the authority, rather than Satan, the "Lord of this world" ) For the Creator God bless this glass of water, juice.. salad ... WHAT EVER and by doing so give God the Glory as Creator of Heaven & Earth, me and everything.

Your question would be better well spent, by asking, " What is the Glory to God?" as in Rev 14:7 ... ( but then I answered this in my 1st sentence)
Our life is all about who are we gonna honor & give authority (Glory) to .... , Obedience ~~> God, or Disobedience ~~>Satan

Revelation 14:7
"Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I'm looking forward to the Millennial kingdom one. Matthew 23 is going to be really good too but might be a powder keg. Maybe God is delaying it to a better time? I hope that will be resolved too.

The problem here is not the ideas I allegedly promote, but your misrepresentation and lack of comprehension thereof.

We don't give authority to God. He already has all authority. We can only ascribe it to Him. And you are correct, ascribing this and other of God's majesties to Him does honor Him. So...let's see how well you do.

When someone obeys a commandment, who is the source of the obedience?

When you don't know what I know or do and claim you do, that tells me where any future discussion would lead to, unfruitful, We have had similar discussion previously, I am choosing not to go down that path based on where it ended last time. I have spoken plenty about how to keep the commandments, and would be happy to engage when its coming from a good place of really wanting to understand. Since that wasn't my experience before with a very lengthy discussion, thank you but I will pass. Scripture even tells us there is a time to move on Mat15:3-14, that's what I am doing, but wish you well.
The clear teaching of the New Testament is that believers have freedom to worship the Lord, or to honor ANY DAY they choose,
or NONE AT ALL.
Paul told the Colossian church not to be intimidated by Judaizers and Sabbathkeepers (which we have seen much of in this forum)
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, [i.e., by whether we do or do not eat kosher ]
or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, [whether or not we keep the Jewish festivals]
or of the sabbath days: [which includes both weekly and festival sabbaths]
17 Which are a SHADOW of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
(Colossians 2:16-17)
This is a simple clear warning about "SabbathBlessing" and those of his party who act as judges or inspectors over the Body of Christ.

In case we did not understand this, the Apostle adds more on this subject in
Romans 14:4-14:
1 Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on his opinions. 2 For one person has faith to eat all things, while another, who is weak, eats only vegetables. 3The one who eats everything must not belittle the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted him.
Here the "one who is weak in faith" is someone who believes he must only eat the foods commanded in the dietary Laws of Moses.

4Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. 5 One person regards a certain day above the others, while someone else considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6He who observes a SPECIAL DAY does so to the Lord; he who eats does so to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.
When he talks about "keeping certain days and observing A SPECIAL DAY does this not include also keeping Shabbat?
Paul is warning us not to heed self-appointed 'Shabbat-cops"

They seem nice though. I will pray for them to let go of those things that the Lord no longer counts.
