Hosea predicted a time when “Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.”
In Matthew 2:15, we are told that Hosea’s prophecy was fulfilled when his parents took Jesus to Egypt to protect him from Herod’s “slaughter of the innocents” (Matthew 2:3-18).
Yet, after Herod had died, God called Jesus and his family to return to Nazareth. Matthew takes a passage from Hosea (11:1), which clearly refers to national Israel (as YHWH’s son).
He tells his reader that this passage is fulfilled in Jesus Christ! Jesus is Israel, YHWH’s son.
Matthew’s goal in his writing is to prove to his largely Jewish audience that Jesus is the servant of the Lord, foretold throughout the Old Testament (especially Isaiah).
Jesus is the true Israel and beyond that the New Testament makes it indisputably clear who is a Jew!!
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

You have no idea of what this war is about. By the way, Ecclesiastes states that there is a time for war. If Iran gets a nuclear weapon and the means to deliver it, America is the first target. Israel will be next. You think there is suffering now? How about when America responds to Iran's nuclear attack with it's own nukes. Part of my role in the Navy was decontamination of nuclear fallout. I had to learn about the consequences of a nuclear explosion. You do not want to see it.
If Iran gets its way, Muslims all over the world will be encouraged to take over the "infidel" regimes. They are doing it by stealth now. They will be emboldened to attempt it by force. Right now, the USA and Israel are demonstrating that their Allah is not so great after all. That will shake the foundations of the Muslim world.

This is the key. The Lord Jesus Christ always has a nation that can freely preach His Gospel. If the United States puts laws or sanctions against His Gospel, look for another nation being raised up to freely preach His Gospel.
If another nation is not raised up.............Look for the end.
Doesn't matter. We can freely preach Christ and His Gospel.......Unlike any other nation on this planet.
