By "correct" I take it to mean the way you understand it. Hilarious. In Matthew 18:18 Jesus isn't talking to all Christians he is talking to the disciples.

What you need to do is show evidence that "your" understanding of Scripture is authoritative. Thus far though all I see, is someone else told you that Jesus is talking to all Christians in Matt 18:18 even though he isn't. If you REALLY believe you have the authority to bind and loose on earth and in heaven then you're way outside the realm of reality.

Not sure why you understand my understanding as "hilarious", nor why you see Jesus speaking only to the Twelve rather than to all disciples in Matt. 18:18, but I have shown more evidence than you (Mark 11:24) and have as much authority as whoever told you differently. In heaven we will learn whose understanding of reality is within the realm, but you seem to be blind, so I will enlarge the print:
binding and loosing must be in accordance with God's will.

Scripture NEVER says all Christians can loose and bind but make it up as you go, right?

Just the Baptist Church alone has hundreds of distinct branches that broke away. Until the 1500s there was only one Christian Church and only one church today can even remotely begin to trace it's history back to the apostles.

“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
‭‭John‬ ‭18:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

GW never says "all Christians" can or cannot loose and bind, you make it up that they cannot,
whereas I sew Matt. 16:19, 18:18, Mark 11:24 and Matt. 26:39-42 together to arrive at the reasonable view
that all fallible Christians should pray, bind and loose in accordance with the perfect will of God.

Not sure why you kick against the goad of Scripture, but I suspect you were brainwashed,
because you projected "whoever told you" onto me, whereas I studied this question on my own and
state the following as TOJ #102 in Matt. 16:19b & 18:18:

TOJ #102: Excommunicate fruitless “Christians”. [Matt. 16:19b, 18:17-18] Although saints are not perfect, someone who typically exhibits sinful fruit (Gal. 5:19-21) apparently is not a genuine Believer (TOJ #48 & #148). The reference to binding and loosing is problematic, because it can be applied incorrectly, as it was most notably by the Roman popes against Martin Luther and the Protestants.

Jesus does seem to say {also in John 20:23} that, IF Believers represent God’s will on earth rightly, then their disfellowship reflects the ultimate status of the excommunicant. (See TOJ #65, #123 & #152.) However, this is a big “IF”, so the danger of committing the sin of judgmentalism should lead us to adopt the view that disfellowship does not mean Christians cease all interaction with a sinning or carnal person (1Cor. 3:1-3), but rather that they change the nature of the relationship from fellowshipping to witnessing and reproving. Paul once advocated this doctrine (in 1Cor. 5:1-13).

Here is what Jesus said, Matthew 16:18

"And I say to you: You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld will not prevail against it."

Now Jesus says there, "my" church. If so then wouldn't it be wise to look around and see which church is his? It has to still be around since Jesus said the gates of the netherworld will not prevail against it.
And yet the Reformers say no, why is that? Christ is saying He is the rock check what He declares.

Again, binding and loosing seems to be speaking of fellowship with those deemed to be Christians or excommunication of those deemed to be unchristian, which should be done in the manner described by Jesus that probably would prompt faith fakers to excommunicate themselves although the intent was to prompt repentance.

No religion leads to God. God knows who belong to Him. We are to preach the gospel to all nations. It's the Lord Jesus who gives the increase. There is no test when we die, we have either been born again by the Spirit of the Living God or we haven't.

And yet the Reformers say no, why is that? Christ is saying He is the rock check what He declares.
Because they think they have authoritative understanding of Scripture without an my evidence for it.

Jesus declares he will build his church on the rock that is Peter. He tells Peter, "I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you loosed on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Matt 16:19.

It's tiring talking to people who just refuse to see what's plainly written.

It’s far more tiring to read the ignorant comments of people who seem to think the Bible was written in English and who ignore the very real distinctions between terms in the original Greek.

The RCC has no authoritative understanding of Scripture. The word for "Peter," petros, means "a detached stone," and the word for "rock" next mentioned is a different Greek word, Petra, that means "a mass of rock" and therefore something foundational. (Matthew 7:24-25) Jesus was saying, "You are the small rock, but I am the foundation of the church." This view finds support in other passages that present Christ, not Peter, as the foundation of the church (1 Corinthians 3:11) and the life-giving rock. (1 Corinthians 10:4) The apostles played a foundational role in the building of the church, but the role of primacy is reserved for Christ alone. So, Jesus’ words in Matthew 16:18 are best interpreted as a boulder-like, foundational truth came from the mouth of one who was called a small stone. Christ Himself is called the "chief cornerstone." (1 Peter 2:6-7) So, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets (not just Peter) and Jesus is the chief cornerstone. (Ephesians 2:20)
