Why God the Father considered this fruit as forbidden?

GENESIS 2:16-17
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Another problem is that in God's ban on the forbidden fruit, "death" did not exist in the prelapsarian setting of Eden (i.e. before the fall), as we've learned that death is the wages of sin, it was his transgression that originated the sin of all mankind, so telling Adam, "the day you eat of it you'd die" would not be comprehensible, as there was no empirical evidence. After Eve ate it, she seemed fine, nothing was amiss. Most sermons render the fall as "spiritual death", which sounds dubious to me.

Maybe they didn’t quite understand, but they were given a command, and they disobeyed Him, just as we do today. I guess we’re no different.

And it is wise to ask God rather than doubt Him.

The meaning of Ephesians 4:11-12 requires a revelation from Lord Jesus before it can be considered as truth.

How do you consider them they were elected by Lord Jesus where in fact they don't get along.
They have their different recognition or identity of Jesus Christ.
They have different doctrines & way of salvation.

The real chosen of Jesus, everytime Jesus speaks they ask Jesus to reveal the meaning of his words.
Because Jesus is the only Pastor and Teacher and No One Else.

In Matt., Jesus was telling Peter that God the Father told him truth about Him, it didn’t come from man (flesh and blood). You said just the opposite.
